Being a PhD-holder in Chemistry from Imperial College London, I also offer support to chemistry students at university level. Classes are delivered online via Zoom. In my classes: - I encourage asking relevant questions and I am willing to repeat explanations as much as necessary. - I use technological tools and web interfaces to provide visual support to verbal explanations, which I consider a key part of effective teaching. - I share my own, tailored, class notes and encourage the student to take notes him/herself as practice. - We solve problems and I also assign homework and correct it in the following lesson. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture.
