I have a Music degree from the Conservatory of Music and Drama DIT and four years experience teaching piano and double bass in classical and jazz, conducting youth orchestras and teaching music theory and composition.I am a member of ESTA Ireland. My lessons are tailored for ever person, with a focus is on developing a love for the art, particularly with younger students.

I have a space to teach on Tuesdays only. I am happy to travel to your house if you are not available on Tuesdays.

About Me

I am an opening minded individual who is not afraid of being wrong. I have just moved to Germany from Ireland where I have been teaching music for the last four years.

My teaching is focused on giving my students the tools they need to teach themselves, guiding students to their own conclusions rather than forcing my own on them. My teaching philosophy is largely based on ideas from the 'Art of Learning' by Joshua Waitzkin, the Suzuki method, and my own observations of the learning process.

I am happy to teach whichever genre the student and parent collectively decide. I can teach classical, jazz and popular genres. I include theory in all my lessons, how much I focus on this depends on the student.

I make a big effort to always be friendly, patient and welcoming in all my lessons.

Bachelors of Music (Performance) from the Conservatory of Music and Drama, Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin, Ireland.

My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory. I teach on an upright acoustic piano at my place in Wedding and in some cases travel to the student for lessons.

This is perfect for teenagers or adults who want to learn but aren't interested in learning classical pieces. I only offer 1 / 1,5 / 2-hour sessions to give us plenty of time to work on the techniques, and, ideally, play a whole song during a single session.

Hello! my name is Sarah. I have a certificate in Classical Piano Performance. I have years of experience in teaching music in different languages (Arabic, English, German and French).
In 2020 I finished my master's in Music Therapy in Germany. At the end of my studies, I did my research on online music playing and wrote my thesis on music interaction through online platforms which gave me a great deal of experience when it comes to online teaching. Hi my name is Anne.

I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop.

During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year.
Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo.

Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson.
Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons.
I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities.

We will play a lot of music together.
Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style.
