About Me

Hi! I’m Asli, a singer, composer, and sound designer with a passion for music that started in childhood. Singing and songwriting have always been close to my heart, and throughout my education, I performed as a singer in various bands, collaborating with professional musicians in Istanbul. During this time, I also taught piano and singing to children aged 4 to 6, and I absolutely love working with kids!

After completing my studies in music composition and sound technologies, I began working as a professional composer and singer, collaborating with directors, advertising agencies, and artists from different fields. Before moving to Berlin, I worked as a sound engineer at an audiobook company.

Now, I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with passionate music learners! Whether you want to dive into music theory, master music production, improve your singing, or learn to play the piano, I’m here to guide you. Whether your goal is to shine on stage or produce your own music on the computer, I hope to inspire and support you on your musical journey. I look forward to meeting you soon!

I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory. I teach on an upright acoustic piano at my place in Wedding and in some cases travel to the student for lessons.

Drums, as with bass guitar are the backbone of any good song, and the foundation upon which the music is built. Despite not being as famous as lead vocals or lead guitar. Drums in my opinion is much more fun, at all levels of performance.

I will teach you how to play the drums, how to fit the style to the genre and we will learn by practice by breaking down the famous classics, and explain what part drums played to make these classics so good.

We will use my electronic drumset, which is not as good as the real thing but is definitely good for starters. There are ways you can practice at home without a drumset as well. And we can expand later and rent a studio room, where I can jam with you on the guitar even!

I offer lessons on Piano with personalized lessons for each student according to the goals and the music the student wants to play. We will work on several topics as recognition of the instrument, technique, reading, repertoire, harmony, ear training and composition among other topics. The lessons are in English or in Spanish by the moment. I will reply gladly any questions you have.

My method is based on each student in particular. It doesn't matter your leveI, I enjoy teaching to people who have a commitment with music and art. I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in.

I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself!

Hello there!

My name is Sara and I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher. I have been a pianist for about 15 years and started teaching it a while ago as well. I offer lessons in 3 different languages ( English, Arabic and German) for both beginner and intermediate levels.

I believe music should be enjoyed and comfortably played, allowing people to both connect with it and understand while challenging them to express themselves in new and different ways. Music lessons are fun and will be set to make the student confident and comfortable in their playing. If any student needs extra time or space to feel secure and safe, I will offer as much understanding and security as I can.
Trust is my number one motto, if for any reason a student feels pressured or uncomfortable they can come and talk to me directly and we shall figure out a way to make music learning fun and enjoyable for them.

Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure.
