Music theory, an essential subject to deeply understand music.
As I am Hungarian, I studied the Kodály method. It is a rather special method which is characterized by a lot of singing, creativity and rhythmic games, which was invented for the education of the people, not for the musical elite. Its effectiveness is proven by many musicians who have grown up in this extraordinary system.
During the lessons we would do several types of exercises:
- listening exercises
- writing exercises
- sing songs, melodies, chords, intervals...
(I am flexible regarding this subject, the student can advise activities/subjects (ex: history of music...))

The goal:
- find the connection between musicality-instrument-theory
- improve ear (absolute/relative), sight-reading, musicality, theoretical knowledge

Extra information

For music theory lessons the student must have a music book and to improve the level of teaching I would like to teach with piano (it is an option, not an obligation).

I am very energetic, friendly and adaptable. During years of study I became well-organized thanks to all my school/extra-curricular activities (working several instruments every day, concerts,...). I like to teach all kinds of people who are curious about the subjects I teach, who want to progress, who have the interest in mastering music.
