I specialise in tutoring French and/or English for school just as well for higher education levels or different age groups. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered. I would provide homework, just as well as challenges to place them in real life situations where they would have to use their skills and knowledge. In addition to this, providing a feedback on what they've accomplished, what needs further improvement and work.

This class is for students who require assistance with editing academic or other work. My goal is to improve the English content of students' written work as well as grammar. I will provide constructive feedback to enable students to develop their writing. This class will be offered for GCSE English onwards and includes university dissertations and other pieces of written work.

I can teach all periods of English Literature - but particularly Shakespeare and Classical Drama - having a BA from Oxford and also an MA in Russian and East European Literature from UCL. Also poetry at all levels. Also a RADA trained actor who can help with voice work and public speaking. Am particularly interested in working with older/mature students too.

I am an ex-Oxbridge student (I studied at Somerville College, Oxford, 2020-2023) offering tutoring and preparation aid for anyone thinking of applying to Oxford or Cambridge. I offer help getting to grips with the ELAT paper as well as help understanding how to prepare for your Oxbridge interviews. We can even start from the beginning and work on your personal statement. Oxbridge applications have a very specific style to them that is often quite different to the teaching of English at most secondary schools. My current success rate with Oxbridge applicants is 100%, however it is important to say that entry can never be guaranteed.
