About Me

Ik studeerde in 2006 af als Master in de Muziek optie Piano aan het Lemmensinstituut te Leuven. Hiernaast behaalde ik ook in 2006 mijn Initiële lerarenopleiding van academisch niveau 2 aan hetzelfde instituut. Na mijn opleiding in de klassieke muziek ben ik mij vocaal gaan verdiepen in andere muziekgenres waaronder pop, jazz en Franse Chansons.
In het verleden gaf ik les aan verschillende muziekacademies en jeugdmuziekscholen, zowel piano als notenleer. Sinds begin 2019 ben ik zelfstandige en geef ik enkel nog privélessen.
Pianoles geven is mijn passie. Ik doe dit met hart en ziel, en deze gedrevenheid tracht ik door te geven aan mijn leerlingen zodanig dat muziek ook voor hen een passie doorheen hun leven kan worden.

Fun and quality can go hand in hand, and that is what I always try to achieve as a piano teacher. Classes are offered privately, so the time and regularity of the classes can be flexible for adults who have busy lives, but still want to learn to play the piano.

I offer personal piano lessons for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, from absolute beginners to advanced pianists. Whether you are sitting at the piano for the first time or have been playing for years, the lessons are fully tailored to your level, musical interests, and personal goals.

During the lessons, we focus on piano technique, musicality, interpretation, and developing a good playing posture. The joy of making music is always central.

With my conservatory training in classical piano and over 10 years of teaching experience, I would be happy to guide you in your musical development.

As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals.

In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances.

I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).

I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.

I offer personalized guitar lessons for students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Beginners are very welcome — no prior experience needed.

With a strong background in classical guitar (Bachelor’s degree from ESMUC, Barcelona) and performance experience, I help students develop solid technique, musicality, and confidence.

• Chords and accompaniment (pop, modern styles)
• Classical guitar technique and repertoire
• Rhythm, fingerpicking, and strumming
• Music theory and ear training
