I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice.

We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time!

About Me

My name is Amaru, I am 28 years old. Graduated in musical theater (dance, singing and acting) in private or state institutes and many years with private teachers. I dedicated many years of my life to study vocal techniques to be able to teach my students the best possible ways to take care of the voice, expand the register, give different dynamics in the songs and help in the interpretation of them.
I am bilingual, so I also specialize in songs in English.

-Teaching of the interpretation of a variety of repertoire according to the student's interest: different genres and musical styles where the technical tools learned in class are exercised.

The Guitar along with the piano are the instruments that are responsible for harmony. In the workshop music will be approached mainly from that place, from the technical to the practical. That is, the reason why a set of notes played simultaneously sounds the way it does, and why it sounds.

With this course the objective is that the student can begin to manipulate harmony to play the music they want, re-harmonize it if they want or even compose their own music.
