About Me
Claire received her early training at Seoul Art gifted school, prestigious institutions for gifted young musicians in Korea. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Seoul National University, graduating with honors. Claire continued her studies in the United States at Boston University, where she completed her Master of Music in Classical Voice Performance as a scholarship recipient. Her academic path was marked by both outstanding achievement and a strong foundation in vocal technique, performance, and stage interpretation.
Alongside her formal education, Claire has built an active performance career spanning opera, oratorio, and musical theatre. She has appeared in opera productions and concert performances in Korea and abroad, interpreting leading roles in works from the standard operatic repertoire as well as contemporary stage pieces. In addition to live performance, she has taken part in various recording and collaborative projects, continuously exploring ways to merge classical artistry with broader stagecraft. Her stage work reflects a focus on expressive delivery, text interpretation, and connecting vocal sound with dramatic gesture.
