I have been teaching students for 4 years in various age categories. I believe there is no one in way to teach, as each student is different and may benefit from different strategies. I am a University of Surrey Mathematics Masters Student who is currently averaging 82% (first class honours). I went to school at St Benedict’s School from the ages of 4-18. My A-levels consisted of; Mathematics, Economics and Physics to which I achieved the grades A*, A and B respectively.

I have been teaching students for 4 years in various age categories, primarily in the 12-18 bracket. Every student I have worked with for an extended period of time has achieved a seen improvement in their grades.

I am a PhD student studying Chemistry at Imperial College London. I like helping students understand concepts and improve their grades, which is why I signed up to be a tutor.

During my A-level years, I was also selected as a Chemistry mentor to assist one of my peers. This reinforced my understanding of A-level Chemistry, and was a valuable teaching experience. It was especially rewarding to see my peer's grade improving from a D during the preliminaries to a B for A levels.
