About Me

I have both bachelor and Master degrees in Jazz guitar and I have participated in many album recordings as a side man and recorded and produced my own music. Over the years I have taught many students form different backgrounds and levels and I have help them achieve their goals, rather playing the songs they like or learning more in depth the guitar musical concepts.

The course is intended for beginners or false beginners, with as primary objectives the development of position, ear, groove and music theory (if desired, not required) through the analysis of musical pieces of all styles ( at the student's choice + some indispensable ones) and progressive and fun exercises.
No worries: speed, density and difficulty of the lessons and exercises modulated according to the pupil, in order to preserve the only element really essential to the learning of an instrument: the pleasure to play!

What I propose in my class is the practical learning of the instrument as well as a theoretical approach of it. Indeed, understanding certain musical aspects such as harmony or rhythm greatly facilitates the practical work on the instrument and promotes a real musical intelligence. I am currently a student in the second year of a piano bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Before my integration into the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I studied at the Departmental Conservatory of Roubaix, where I obtained a DNOP (National Diploma of Professional Orientation) in piano. This diploma gave me a lot of knowledge, theoretical (third cycle of musical training, writing, analysis) and practical (vocal and instrumental accompaniment).

The courses I offer are aimed at all levels and ages, as well as students enrolled in music school / conservatory or not.
During the first class I try to understand the desires and expectations of the students in order to see which methodology to adopt.

I am an experienced percussionist, specialized in various types of instruments as congas, bongos, cajon, berimbau, djembe, etc. I am also involved in various musical projects like duos, trios, cvintets, big bands. My interest broadened to include live sound effects, body percussion, music arrangeur.

I am Samuel (21 years old) and I offer private violin lessons in Brussels. I have the EEPP (10 years) violin title but I also have guitar skills.
I am an Erasmus student and I study medicine at ULB (Brussels). In addition, I have flexible hours.

Play guitar for more or less 4 years with different private teachers. I now wish to pass on what I learned during my journey to people who want to use the instrument
The aim of the course would be to learn the basics (chords, rhythm, theory), some classics, improvisation and then explore according to the wishes of the student (composition, particular musical style etc.)

The musical openness, the technical background and the experiences of multiple styles allow me to adapt my teaching to the needs and wishes of the student, and lead me to offer an accompanied teaching on the guitar, the piano, the percussions, decorated Harmonica or Trumpet.
