I’m a doctoral researcher in Composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have studied composition at both Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music for Undergraduate and Masters level study.

I feel that music education is something that whilst having its immediate benefits, can complement many aspects of our lives, both educationally and in a skill-based capacity, but also concerning our understanding of ourselves and our individual creativity.

I have studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama attaining a 1st class undergraduate and a distinction at masters level. I am currently a PhD researcher in composition at Guilldhall School of Music and Drama.

UPROAR New Music Ensemble Wales, Darragh Morgan, EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble,

ISCM World New Music Days representing Wales.
His work has been performed nationally and internationally at KlexosLab New
Music Festival 2024 (Spain) and is commissioned to compose for Presteigne
Festival 2025.

contemporary dance, electroacoustic and electronic works, and large-scale

Music forms a great soundtrack in this journey called life, and as a passionate musician and a versatile music teacher, my aim is to inspire others to develop their talents and appreciate the joy of music.

With over 15 years of experience, I teach singing, guitar, music theory, and music production to students that are eager to learn and broaden their skills. Violin lessons with me are individual and catered to the needs of each student. Beginner violinists will discover the violin through a variety of engaging theory, aural and practical exercises. I have graduated with a 1st Class degree in BMus Popular Music from Goldsmiths University of London. My musical path started at Moscow Jurgenson Music School in Russia at the age of 7 where I took my first piano and music theory lessons. After 8 years of full-time studying I graduated with distinction. In 2015, I graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London specialising in classical and contemporary performance (under Andrew Zolinsky) and music education. Recently, I have completed my masters programme at Goldsmiths, University of London specialising in contemporary musicology (under Keith Potter) and music management.

Since 2012, I have been performing and premiering contemporary classical music solo or with ensembles at various venues and events, including IKLECTIK, Arebyte Gallery, Sound Festival, Southbank Centre, Cheltenham Music Festival and Teatro Baltazar Dias (Madeira, Portugal). I am a core member of the New Maker Ensemble, a group dedicated to experimenting with various art forms of new music and performance art. I regularly write articles and album reviews about new music. I have given lectures and presentations on new music at various conferences and events, including the Gnesin Contemporary Music Week 2020, 2021 and 2022, the Gnesin Academy and ZIL Culture Centre. And I even have my own podcast about new music.

Tuition is open for both online and in-person classes. All ages and abilities welcome: from age 5 to adult learners, beginner to advanced. I teach from my flat in Surrey Quays, but can also travel to my students, in which case a travel fee will be added to the standard rates. I currently offer:

I always make sure all pupils enjoy their lessons giving a friendly and fun approach to them. Regardless of age and skill level I want my students to be able to enjoy their time practicing and playing. I can prepare students for all grades of the ABRSM or other boards exams and I complement the lessons with music theory and aural skills training when needed. I can also offer music theory lessons that being to complement music education, prepare for the ABRSM music theory exams or just to expand the knowledge in that area.
The approach for in-person and online tuition are quite similar. I effectively teach using both methods with great results in both. When online, I make sure they are of exceptional quality and the pupil gets the same results they would get in person. They are ideal if traveling is a limitation for the student or just want to take them from the comfort of their home using their own instrument.

I'm a jazz student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire going into my 3rd year- with extensive teaching experience ranging from preschool to pension, I have helped people to ace grade exams and pushed guitarists to understand music better. I currently have numerous happy guitar students, most of whom I have taught from their first time with the instrument.

I can teach right from the first stage, and help with grade exams if that's the route you choose to take. If not, I often do a more modern, non-graded path as well. I'm also equipped to help in passing theory grades, and very knowledgeable about music tech, recording, effects and gear!

She is interested in a broad range of music, which she hopes to share with students of all ages and abilities in their lessons. As a performer, Evie plays in various settings - folk, jazz, in bands, as well as more typical orchestral and chamber ensembles. Her own musical interest currently lies in folk, baroque music and improvisation.

Evie has been teaching a broad range of students for the last eight years: those who wish to take graded exams, those looking to explore folk and improvisation, expand their repertoire, or brush up on technique. She also currently teaches group violin classes at a primary school in London.

She has found that encouraging a structured and regular practice at home, if possible with the help of a parent or guardian, is the best way to reach goals and feel confident while playing. Evie studied music at university in London and has been playing violin and viola for over 20 years. She is interested in a broad range of music, which she hopes to share with students of all ages and abilities in their lessons. As a performer, Evie plays in various settings - folk, jazz, in bands, as well as more typical orchestral and chamber ensembles. Her own musical interest currently lies in folk, baroque music and improvisation.

Evie has been teaching a broad range of students for the last eight years: those who wish to take graded exams, those looking to explore folk and improvisation, expand their repertoire, or brush up on technique. She also currently teaches group violin classes at a primary school in London.

She has found that encouraging a structured and regular practice at home, if possible with the help of a parent or guardian, is the best way to reach goals and feel confident while playing. Most of all, she encourages students to be open-minded, inquisitive, and ready to listen to a variety of music! Evie is always ready to cater specifically to the needs and interests of the student, and to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. In lessons, she will cover sight-reading, exam preparation, music theory, focused technique, improvisation, standard repertoire, and any music the student may wish to explore on their instrument.

I am a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano and a Master’s degree in Musical Directing, bringing over a decade of experience to both performance and teaching.

With more than 12 years of experience working with adults and children, including those with special needs and learning differences, I have developed a teaching style that is both patient and structured. I believe that a strong foundation in technique opens the door for true musical expression, allowing every student—no matter their age or ability—to discover the joy of making music.
