Hi there, my name's James. I've been playing since the age of 10 (12 years), during which I have played with a number of bands and taught many students, both privately and in schools. I'm currently the touring drummer for London Calling UK, The Meatloaf Story, and Emma Stevens, and have partaken in festivals and shows around the UK and Europe. I am able to teach whatever it is you're wanting to learn. Whether we're starting at the beginning, or learning a certain song, each lesson will be tailored specifically to you and your needs. I can provide in-person 1 to 1 lesson either at my home studio or at a place of the student's choice (within reason), or via video chats like Zoom and Skype. I am DBS checked.

If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it!
