My name is Joanna and I have been teaching piano and vocals for 7 years. I have a BA Honours Degree in music. I teach children of all ages and abilities, exam preparation, music theory or just for fun.Through sight-reading, scales and technique I explain and demonstrate the main fundamentals of music, while adapting my teaching style to best fit the needs of each student. I love to do songs that the student enjoys to help motivate and encourage them in a fun learning environment. I love to share my passion for music through teaching and I think it's important that the student enjoys the material that they are working on. I take beginners to intermediate standard for lessons. I finished all of my piano grades and I teach piano grades from Elementary to grade 8.

I teach Entry level/Beginner/ Intermediate Piano and Guitar lessons with a focus on different styles, techniques, and rhythms from a broad base of musical genres.

Classes are designed for aspiring musicians with some musical background and also those with little or none. Each lesson is designed to keep the student at the peak of their abilities by giving both challenging new pieces and reinforcing their own technical skill.

I also put some emphasis on incorporating students' own personal musical tastes and styles to bring their passion to the music they want to play.

In the first lesson, we can get to know each other and you can get an idea for how the lessons will be taught while letting me know what elements you'd like to focus on in the future.

Hi, I finished grade 6 of Piano and I have more than 7 years of playing the instrument. I can make classes fun and they fly by. Within the lesson we will learn new songs modern and classical, the basic scales and theory. I will break down the lesson so the student won’t get bored of doing the same thing over and over again.

Hi, I finished grade 8 of Piano and I have more than 10 years of playing the instrument. Within the 30 minute one to one lesson we will learn new songs, scales ,sight reading and theory.These lessons are perfect for bringers and intermediate who want to get a better understanding of the theory whilst also learning how to play the piano.

There are three modules: theory, exercises, and practical application.
I've been a musician since I was 9 years old. At the age of 16, I started playing in the church band and giving guitar and piano lessons. I currently work full-time as a music teacher (long-term)

The classes will consist of vocal training technics to improve the singing. That will include warm up exercises, Diaphragmatic breathing, posture, scales and the actual singing. Classes will be directed to each student` interest in learning, including all styles of music and the ability to achieve higher tones.
