About Me
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I began my self-taught music journey at 5. Over the years, I was a part-time electrician, business admin, part-time professional musician, studio recording musician and a faithful church musician. I graduated from Nashville School of the Arts high school majoring in Trumpet & Electric Guitar. Gracefully, I was raised in a music family where harmonies and sounds of instruments would fill the home every week. My family who was inducted in the Gospel Music Hall of Fame helped pave the way for Gospel, blues, country, rock and jazz music in Nashville, holds two Grammy Awards in Gospel music, and has passed their tradition down to a 4th generation.
Later, I pursued my studies in Business Administration and Data Science in France and Switzerland. I quickly noticed the conservatoires’ reliance on an outdated solfège system, which often left students uninspired. I felt called to make a difference, leading me to establish a Nashville-inspired music school here, hence the name.
The teaching methods I employ, such as the "Nashville Number System," are unique from my experience living in the 'Music City'. This system simplifies the entire musical language into one framework, freeing musicians from rigid reliance on sheet music. Instead of staring at paper, we focus on connecting with people and the music itself.
Music is a language that we naturally learn to speak growing up, not a chore. Music theory, ear training, techniques, and rhythm exercises are integrals designed to fast track you to excellence in many styles of music. With great pleasure, I have successfully brought this gift of music to the heart of Europe to share.
