Sarshar (b. 1999) (Master's in classical music piano - composition) is a concert pianist and composer born in Tehran and educated at the conservatories of Budapest, Vienna, and Ghent. Known for his original compositions and distinctive interpretations of composers such as Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, Liszt, and Bartók, he combines a strong classical foundation with a deeply personal musical voice.

He has studied classical piano with internationally renowned pianists and has performed across Europe, including concerts in Paris, Copenhagen, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Belgium. His performances include appearances at the Polish Institute in Paris — where Chopin himself performed in the 19th century — and at the Antonin Palace in Poland, the UNESCO World Heritage site where Chopin gave concerts during his lifetime. He has also performed for the Belgian Royal Family, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe and collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists such as Alexander Vantournhout.

Sarshar is the laureate of multiple international piano competitions across Europe, China, and North America. Alongside his concert career, he composes music for film, theater, and dance productions, creating works that combine structural clarity with emotional depth and reflection.

As a teacher, he focuses not only on piano technique and musicality, but also on helping students develop their own artistic identity, confidence, and connection to music. He also integrates harmony into his piano teaching to help students better understand musical structure and build a deeper, more meaningful connection to the music they play. Lessons are available in English, Dutch, and Farsi for beginners, advanced students, and aspiring professionals..

I’m Sarshar Ghozat, a Belgian-Iranian concert pianist and composer based in Ghent. I hold a Master’s degree in Classical Piano from KASK & Conservatorium Gent and have performed internationally, (Copenhagen-Paris-Poland-Budapest-Vienna..) I have also played for King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium. I have been featured in ''Het Talent'' in *De Standaard* and have won prizes at international piano competitions.

But most importantly, my lessons are built around you!

Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced amateur, an advanced pianist or preparing for an entrance exam, we work towards your personal goals. I focus on developing a strong technique while helping you find your own musical voice and confidence at the piano.

Hello everyone! My name is Anni, a Hungarian violinist and I am a recent academic graduate with a Master degree in Music. I did my Master studies in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and recently moved to Ghent.
I give violin lessons to people of all ages from beginners until bachelor. Besides this basic music theory and initiation piano lessons too.
I speak fluently Hungarian, English, A2 level German, and started to learn Dutch too.

I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent.
I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career.
I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude.

Today - after completing an extensive selection procedure - Laurens is professionally active as a clarinetist with the Royal Marine Band, one of the prestigious orchestras of the Belgian army.

In addition to his education at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, Laurens has had the opportunity to learn several times in a number of masterclasses by, among others, Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Davide Lattuada (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Bart de Karter (New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet), Pascal Moragues (Orchester de Paris), Ricardo Mataredonna (The La Monnaie Theatre), David Van Maele (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides), Bart Watté (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides) etc.

Both as a freelancer and an active member, Laurens has played in various orchestras, such as the Royal Band of the Belgian Air Force, Frascati Symphonic, the Euregio Youth Orchestra, the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra, La Chapelle Sauvage, Flanders Young Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Harmony Orchestra...

Since 2021, Laurens has been a member of the Meraki Wind Quintet, with which he has already successfully participated in a number of competitions, including the IMC International Music Competition 2023 (1er Prix à l'unanimité), the Euterpe Music Awards 2022 (gold prize), the Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition 2022 (special mention), and the Fanny Mendelssohn International Online Competition 2022/23 (second prize).

In addition, Laurens is also active as a conductor, both in a symphonic and harmonic orchestra. I'm an electric guitarist for 17 years. I've been teaching guitar for 7 years and performin live for 10 years. Currently, I'm a masters student at KASK & Conservatorium.

Depending on your preferences in terms of genre and goals on the instrument (just keeping it as a hobby or getting professional at it), your curriculum will be shaped. Also it will be conducted while studying your favorite songs. One of my main goals is for you to be able to accompany your favorite pieces and understand the ideas behind those pieces better.

Lessons can be conducted both in English and Turkish.
