Hi, my name is Kristina and I'm a wind instrumentalist specialising in clarinet. I have a Bachelor of Music and Associate of Music qualifications, as well as over 5 years of music teaching experience in schools and privately, including students with additional needs. I am also an active professional musician, so I'm keen to share my knowledge of the musical world with my students.

Sharing the skills of making music brings so much joy to me and I would love to help you on your musical journey. Together, we will build a learning plan, based on your time commitments, prior experience and goals. Whether you'd like to learn for your own pleasure, to join a band or to go professional, I have the skills and vision to guide you.

I'm currently offering private music lessons on any brass instruments or music theory lessons.

I'm a British Musician currently studying my Master's Degree in Orchestral Music Performance at the Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Gothenburg. Before moving to Sweden I finished my undergrad at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and have had 5 years of experience working professionally as a musician across the UK.
I have plenty of experience teaching the French horn privately (my main instrument) to any age and I was the Brass teacher at a private school in Guildford for two years, where I taught kids playing on all brass instruments.
I would also be confident teaching music theory too, to all levels and ages.

I am Nedjmija and I am graduated violinist in Classical music from the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg.

I started with my music education since I was 5 years old, and was active on stage - concerts and competitions since then.

During my violin studies, I had lessons with different violin teachers who taught me different methods of violin technique, and I always strive for the best sound, precise intonation, technique and to musically express what is inside a person.

What does music mean to you? For me, music is magic. It makes you feel, it transports you to different worlds, and it brings out emotions words cannot describe.

I’ve been playing since I was six, and now my greatest joy is not only sharing my own music but also helping you express yourself through this beautiful art form. In our lessons, I’ll guide you through solid technical foundations, practical tips and tricks, and the secrets of artistry that bring music to life.

I teach all levels, from beginners just starting out to advanced students preparing for exams, auditions, or performances.

My musical journey has taken me from Singapore to the USA, UK, and Sweden, with studies at Singapore’s School of the Arts, Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, Meadowmount School of Music (USA), the Royal College of Music in London, and the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. Along the way, I have been fortunate to learn from renowned violinists including Professor Itzhak Rashkovsky, Yumi Sasaki, Chan Yoong Han, Sally Thomas, Marja Inkinen Engström, and Øyvor Volle.

I hold two violin performance diplomas (LTCL and LRSM), a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano performance, and was awarded the top Ash Music Scholarship at Imperial College London, where I studied violin under Professor Rashkovsky. During my time there, I won the Imperial College Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, performing Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto in Helsinki, London, and Southampton. I have also given solo recitals and performed extensively in chamber ensembles, with concerts ranging from Sibelius’ house in Finland to venues across the UK.

My deepest passion is chamber music, and one of my main motivations as a teacher is to make classical music enjoyable and approachable. I want to help break away from the stereotype that it is grand, pretentious, or boring. In an age of digitalisation and AI, I believe strongly in sharing the human side of music making. You know those moments when time seems to stop, the air turns still, you get goosebumps, or feel transported into another world? That is the magic of music, and I would love to help you become the magician. ✨
