Welcome to my guitar courses!

I graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with a bachelor's degree in jazz guitar and am currently pursuing a master's degree, which I expect to complete in 2026. Starting in 2025, I will also be studying IGP (instrumental and vocal pedagogy) in jazz guitar at the KUG.

With over 9 years of teaching experience – from my beginnings in Athens, Greece, to my current residence in Graz, Austria – I have worked with students of all ages and experience levels.

Every student is unique – therefore, lessons are individually tailored to your musical interests and goals.

What we can work on together in class:

1.Guitar & fretboard knowledge
Learn to truly understand your instrument – this will not only help you learn your favorite songs, but also help you make music creatively.

2.Song accompaniment
Develop your skills as a rhythm guitarist: chords, strumming and fingerstyle techniques, rhythmic patterns in different styles.

3. Improvisation
Especially essential in jazz – together we work on the necessary tools such as arpeggios, triads, theoretical basics and phrasing.

4.Rhythm training
Improve your sense of time and develop a solid rhythmic foundation – essential for any musical style.

5.Harmony, modern music theory & composition
Dive deeper into the structure of music and learn how to write your own pieces.

6. Playing technique
We work specifically on your technique – e.g. alternate picking, sweep picking, hybrid picking, legato, etc.

7.Repertoire
Learn songs and solos in your favorite style – whether rock, jazz, pop, funk, metal or more.

About Me

Konstantinos was born in 1996 in Athens.

His involvement with music began at the age of 12.

He was admitted in 2019 to the Kunstuniversität Graz, Jazz Department, in Austria.

He has attended several workshops of renowned musicians such as Immanuel Wilkins, Lage Lund, Robin Eubanks, Joe Fiedler, Charles Altura, Lionel Loueke, Jim Mcneely, Dick Oatts, John Riley, Danilo Perez, Alex Sipiagin, Jason Lindner, Jorge Rossy and has taken private lessons from important musicians such as Dick Oatts, Nir Felder, Phil Robson, Lage Lund, Lionel Loueke, Jason Lindner, Luis Bonilla, etc.

He has been a member of Luis Bonilla’s International Jazz Quartet since 2021 and has worked closely with him ever since (Luis Bonilla is a 3-times Grammy winner artist, played for 20 years with Village Vanguard Orchestra, and toured the world with Phil Collins Band).

He has been a member for three consecutive years (2021,2022,2023) of JMI World Jazz Orchestra as the main guitarist, a big band that gathers talents from all over the globe and tours Europe in summer, based in Brussels.

He is currently leading his own quartet that plays his compositions and is about to record his first Album, playing as a sideman in numerous artistic projects and working at the same time as a guitar tutor.

His most notable performances are with the world-famous, 3 times Grammy winner trombone artist Luis Bonilla, renowned organ player and pianist Renato Chicco, and trumpet standout Stjepko Gut, as well as touring with JMI World Jazz Orchestra.

He has performed in several music venues in Europe (Greece, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, etc) and he is involved in numerous music projects in Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Germany, and Austria, where he currently lives.

As a guitar tutor, he has 9 years of experience teaching privately in Athens (Greece), as well as in Graz (Austria), and internationally by online teaching students from countries such as Luxembourg, Italy, USA, UK, France, Spain etc.

I believe it's important to look at the learning process holistically. I think you are the music itself. You bring all the wonderful and beautiful things about it with you. The guitar is the means of expression you've chosen, and WOW! It's definitely cool, and it's amazing that you're even taking this step and want to take it (more) seriously :)

So... simply learning scales and theory isn't my approach. (although there's no way around it haha)

Everything you experience and have experienced contributes to who you are and will become as a musician. It shapes your expression with and without a guitar, and above all, the way you learn.

My name is Giuseppe and I'm an Italian musician living in Graz.

Before moving, I worked as a guitar and music theory teacher at a music school, as I have a degree in electric guitar.

During my studies and my work as a player and teacher, I studied and played different types of music, from blues, rock, to the most extreme metal.

My curriculum is comprehensive and progressive. My teaching method focuses primarily on good sight-reading, combined with refined piano technique.
