Several music elements will be included in the piano or singing lessons : technique, repertoire, interpretation and music theory. Also offered are lessons in music theory subjects.

Hello there, ever since I was a teenager I have always admired musicians in small and gigantic stages alike, and have wondered how such marvelous magic could possibly be created from their fingertips. If you are reading this, then maybe you feel the same way towards the piano as I do! I can offer myself to explore with you, with my experiences coming from jazz piano playing, how it works on the piano: basic playing skills, chords and how to voice them, playing solo lines, harmonic knowledge to write your own song, learning to read a lead sheet with only melody and chords, and so many more. Here are some of the goals that you and I can work together to make it happen: 1) Learn to play your favorite tunes on piano or electric piano 2) Learn to accompany yourself while you are singing 3) Learn to play in a band setting 4) Learn to write and play your own songs 5) Learn the keyboard skills for your home production gears (i.e. MIDI keyboard controllers) 6) Learn to improvise on the piano Now, a little bit about myself; the moment I decided that I should try for music came much later compared to my colleagues. I started very late, and thus had to come up with methods of teaching myself fast and efficiently. And I believe that my own experiences coming from the struggles I've had could be of help to you, to understand the task at the hand better and to come up with plans on how to handle them. I offer lessons of piano playing to any person that wants to start with the instrument or want to improve their skills. i have worked with kids and adults. My formation is from classic piano, being that my main activity of study. I have played different styles aswell, from jazz to neo soul, and I also enjoy playing piano through midi and produce music. Lately I have been creating lo fi piano music so I think I can offer a wide range of different styles. I like to work listening the demands of my students, and not imposing repertory that doesn't come from the desire of the student, although I can offer some guidelines in order to make the progress of the student more organize and consistent.

I will teach you English and help you improve your proficiency, regardless of prior knowledge. I will work with you to improve your language skills, such as speaking and listening, for everyday conversation, high school/university, or professional purposes. I will teach you how to write better, improve your grammar or simply expand your vocabulary. Together, we will create a personalised plan for you to achieve your goals and I will teach by accommodating to your preferred style of learning. Expect some homework in the shape of fun assignments such as watching videos/films, reading (short) stories, or writing exercises. These are intended to help you learn and will be made to fit your schedule. With this class, you will improve English noticeably and become more confident in your language sills.

I will teach you English no matter what your current level of proficiency is. I will help you focus on different aspects like grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, langauge use, and more. If you want to work on your writing skills, I can also review your work and help you get better at writing. To start we will discuss your experience with English to see what your current level of English is. We will set a goal, the level of English you wish to acquire, and the lessons will build to that. Do expect some sort of homework, or some form of exercise, mostly in the form of a funny video or show to watch, but if you want to focus on writing skills as well, it will also include writing tasks. I will personally create the lessons to fit your current level and will work with you to reach your goal!

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
