About Me

I am a student, so I understand how it feels to be busy so I will be very patient. I would only give assignments if the student feels like he/she has time to complete it and is willing to practice.

Queen Mary University of London, I am currently in the 3rd year of my medical degree. I did 3 subjects in A levels and 10 in my GCSE's. I studied music from the age of 5 till 17.

Instrument Tuition:

Very flexible approach, I will teach based on individual needs. Beginners will learn the basics of the guitar, basic chords, basic scales etc. And advanced players will learn more complex chords, intricate scales, harmonies and improvisation.

If you just want to learn how to play your favourite songs, then I will teach you how to do that. If you want to learn about song writing, I will teach you that. Anything and everything.

Equally as flexible and I will adhere to individual needs, I may need to start from the very basics even for proficient users. I have many years of experience and I graduated from Manchester MIDI School as a specialist in Logic Pro X. I will explain, demonstrate and test students about each subject per lesson.

We will look at MIDI, editing, recording, compression, EQ, Mastering, mixing, time stretching, FX, plugins, remixing, audio design, sound manipulation and so on.

His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. Hi, I’m Sarah!
I am both an Opera Singer and a classroom Music Teacher. My love for teaching and singing have always lived side by side. I constantly seek any opportunity to share my passion, whether that be in front of an audience or a classroom of students. I have always loved expressing myself through music, regardless of the genre. In fact, in a past life, I really wanted to be a country singer.

My philosophy as a teacher is to have student specific teaching styles that are all about helping YOU achieve the goals that you want to achieve! Whether it be your high school/university recital, auditions, or preparing for a gig, our lessons will be tailor-made to you. My job is to give you the confidence to enjoy your voice.
I am an Operatic Soprano yet I have sung across many genres for many years. Once you have a good technique you will be able to sing in whatever style you choose!

My operatic technique allows me to sing over a full orchestra without a microphone, and without causing vocal damage. In our lessons, I will be able to share with you these tools to healthy singing that enhances your natural tone. You will learn microphone technique, as well as performance techniques that will help you to better convey a character to an audience. I may also help with character development, songwriting, music theory and piano.

Using jazz music as my specialism, I am able to teach even the most technically challenging concepts in their most basic forms and transfer them to the guitar in their most simple terms. I have taught the guitar, music theory and GCSE and A-Level Music syllabuses for six years to students of all ages and abilities and across every imaginable genre.

Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction.

I strongly believe that people learn best when they enjoy what they’re doing, and I incorporate this into my teaching style. I strongly encourage my students to bring their own ideas and suggestions to the lessons; that way they can learn a piece of music that they really like. With a background in classical music, I underpin my lessons with useful technical exercises that encourage dexterity, time-keeping and fluency. Finally, I encourage all my students to learn at least the fundamentals of music theory and sight reading. Striking a healthy balance between diligent exercises, music theory and fun musical expression, my lessons allow students to explore their musicality on all fronts.

In this class we will cover everything from the first instance of picking up a guitar, to learning your favourite songs. If you already have some experience with the instrument, then we will look into more technical development and also expand on your understanding of previous concepts/experience.

In my piano lessons, inspired by the Jacques-Dalcroze method, you'll enjoy a unique musical journey beyond just playing the piano and studying theory. You'll also be singing, improvising on the keyboard, and even moving to the music through dance. Learning piano should never be boring, and it certainly isn’t for me or my students. With me, you’ll discover the countless ways the piano can express music. You’ll explore compositions from various composers, periods, and styles, from the classical works of Mozart, Bach, Debussy, and Chopin, to modern pieces, pop songs, and jazz, including Shostakovich. Through eurhythmics exercises, you'll not only play but also feel the music by moving with it, enhancing your musical knowledge and deepening your emotional connection to sound. If you're unsure about moving with the music, don’t worry—I’ll be there to guide you in finding a way to enjoy and love music. I've played the piano since I was five years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree from the Geneva Music University. More recently, I completed my MA in Interdisciplinary Dance Performance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. While my teaching experience mainly focuses on children aged 5-10, I am also well-versed in providing music training and piano lessons for adults. I was a classical piano student at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester for 7 years and continued to study music for a year in Paris. I achieved a distinction at grade 8 ABRSM piano (the highest grade available), with 1 year of experience tutoring piano for a child who was 9 years old. However, I also have experience with tutoring in other fields (maths and physics).
