The class will explore and experience a variety of painting techniques, media, and historical approaches to art. Painting is a problem-solving class dealing with form, colour, line, and texture (figurative and abstract).

Students will be taught in a workshop format that is based on assignments from the instructor. This class will help them discover their creativity, individuality and unique style. They will begin to work toward building an original body of work that can be used as a portfolio that will include paintings, drawings and mixed media art.

Extra information

Bring painting tools and materials. Small sized canvases and a laptop or iPad that can help with your image references if the need be.

I am training to be a primary school teacher. Who, Specifically specialises in the arts and crafts. I can teach core subjects aswell, from beginner to intermediate level; but focus more on maths and reading. My objective is to help children achieve their academic goals. This is done by constantly revisiting concepts that have previously been taught by myself, and testing their understanding. I will always communicate patience and emphathy with the children, as I know learning new ideas is not easy, and takes time.

I am a fully qualified teacher with full QTS and a master's in Global Creative and Cultural Industries. I take an inquiry-based approach to my teaching and specialize in observational drawing, critical thinking, relief printing, oil painting, and both analog and digital photography. I have taught in mainstream schools, academies, FE centres, pupil referral units, galleries, theatres and youth justice settings. I was commissioned as the first-ever Artist in Residence at the UK Houses of Parliament and now work out of my own Arts council funded studio in SE1.

Basic geometric pattern is for anyone from any field of art. The pre-req that is required for the course is patience and resutltantly it will teach you versatile language of visual proportionality which will any art practiioner who is either working on 2D or 3D space or any kind of visual art. Geometry is not an art form it is tool to develop visual to understand art or space which we are enclosed around.
Particularly in this we focus on Mughal and Alhambra's visual asthetics just to make the students to be focused. But will definitely understand in the initial classes that they will absorb lots different visuals which they are regularly around them. It is a tool to understand frames, depths and differents tillings.
Students will learn the following via Demonstrations/ practical, Lectures:
1. Fundamental use of compass /Polygons and their jorgans
2. Drawing six-fold & four-fold geometric patterns, which have been used throughout Muslim traditional art; Use of isometric grids in Islamic geometric design/patterns
3. Understanding of different proportionalities of tessellations.
4. Learn to construct Platonic and Archmedian solids

I am a professional dancer and teacher. My work ethics are very aligned with buddhism and want to help people to feel good in their own bodies, releasing trauma, blockages and tensions. This is an opportunity to also have a good time and be in touch with your emotions through movement.

I use the body to understand ourselves and our deepest thought process by truly connecting with the present moment. I use meditation and other techniques to help us drop the voices in our heads and create a free channel of connection with higher self. My intention is to help the body be the vessel it is and gain trust and confidence in who we are.

Portrait Sketching is a skill which you need when who don’t have any idea on what to gift people on their birthday’s. Just kidding.
In this age of digital media, if you still want to learn physical sketching and painting, you have my heart. The worth of a hand drawn sketch or painting is still more.
This class would have basics to advanced techniques of sketching and painting and would require basic pencils, paint and your own brain in the beginning, then we can move to other tools required.
Don’t worry if you haven’t painted or sketched before, the worst that could happen is lot of pages being torn but some might turn out to be abstract which we can sell and then split the money, hahaha! that’s it, rest would be fun.

Italian lessons:
You will learn basic skills to use in a holidays trip, or surprise your Italian partner. For those of you who want to learn more ,become a translator or for a job ,I will be happy to help.
Art & Crafts:
You will learn ways to do abstract painting using acrylic paints, creating things from paper, wool , recycled materials, etc.
Fashion designer:
You will learn to do patterns, sowing lessons, create clothes, will depend of your age the level of apprenticeship.

I am a Goldsmiths BA Fine art second year. I do paintings and scultings mainly and sculptural paintings. I love to understand and feel the materials and use the materialities' characteristics and histories to symbolise meanings in my work.

My class would be suitable for potential young childrens or teenagers who are interested in art or want to get into art. As art is the language for me, I would love my students to enjoy and show their creativity in my class and I would help them to develop and create actual works in real life.

There would be no pressure in this class I have experice of tutoring 10year old child and he was enjoying every class. He had ADHD and showed ADHD behaviours during class but as a neurodivergent person I gave him a breaks during classes and talked about his interests so I could figure out what he is interested in so I could prepare next class for him and at the same time the kid could had his little refreshment from doing art work. And I had 1:1 meetings with their parents because they wanted to know how it went and how he was behaving so I gave her a lot of feedbacks from my perspective (I did let her know it is from my perspective) .

My dream is to be an artist/ art professor(university tutor) as I also had mental health issues so I am aware of how to deal with people who should I take more care of and also as a neurodivergent person I could deal with neurodivergent students:)

My curriculum would be very personalised by students.
