I specialize in tutoring Italian and Russian for school and individual courses, and university exams. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I want my students to determine and be comfortable asking where they have the most difficulties. I assign a little homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

The focus is to learn the Italian or Russian language step by step, consolidating own knowledge by trying in speaking and writing fields. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I will support you in any step!

About Me

I am a professional teacher of Italian and Russian for all those interested in these languages; I have more than 5 years of experience in the field of teaching for Italian speakers. My methodology is based on the right combination of grammar, practice, conversation, exercises and cultural deepening of these great countries.

My methodology is based on a flexible relational style, offering space for students' interests, allowing them to tell their experiences. This didactic method favours learning by stepping out of the workshop experience and placing the student at the centre of the process, improving his or her skills and relational experience.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. I see my role more as a guide or tutor, someone who creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to learn and making mistakes. I enjoy working with students in a collaborative way: for example, giving them exercises or homework, and then going through the corrections together, so that the focus is not only on the result but also on the learning process.
