Tutoring French and German lower and upper grades, other subjects: English, Dutch, on request.

From 28 £ /h

I am currently not accepting new requests due to too many scheduled classes.

Grammar, speaking, reading, listening assignments for French and German primary and secondary education
Learning-learning.....for tests, summaries, clear instruction for the subjects: geography, biology, history, Dutch, mathematics.

Private lessons or in a group I teach at home or at my place in Lemmer-noord. I prefer 90 minutes of lessons, especially for listening, writing or speaking skills. I have 20+ years of experience in teaching VMBO, Havo and VWO to all grades. I am known for my clear and clear explanations. My motto is: if you didn't understand, then I didn't explain it properly. Whatever grammar it is, I explain it to you in such a way that you learn better and understand the material with my tips and tricks. I use online tools so that you can continue practicing at home!

About Me

I stopped teaching at school in April 2022, because the combination of flying as a flight attendant at KLM and graduating was just too busy. But how I miss teaching now! That's why I want to give tutoring lessons in the coming year. I can come to your house or you can come to my house in Lemmer. I give tutoring for the lower classes in the other subjects: Dutch, English, biology, geography, history and first year Mathematics at all levels.
I can teach you how to learn, so "learn-learn" to better prepare for tests in the future. I know what is going on during puberty and can therefore get along well with boys and girls of all ages. I have a neutral attitude and do not judge. This means that everyone can be themselves with me, because that's what I am myself.

I specialize on teaching spoken laguage on the first place. During our classes (especially Russian and English) we use mostly the taught languages to be able to make them applicable faster. I am a modern teacher who tries to keep up with the times and reflect this in my lessons. Whenever possible, I try to use game forms to make the lessons fun and effective. Homework guidance will mainly involve grammar explanations or explaining learning to learn.

English is the number 1 language in the world, and it has so much value. Learning English will not only prepare you to deal with any situation but also learn from one of the richest languages. With English one can understand the richness of the British and American culture, learn words that convey new meanings and throughly understand the amazing literature pieces that have been created using the English language. Learn all of this with a tutor who is passionate about the language and will teach you how to love it too. Have fun while learning and know that I will always be available to help and to answer any questions. As a student myself, I will also be able to understand whatever concerns you may have and help you in the best possible way. :)

Whether you are still at school or at work; a good command of the English language is simply pleasant. You get better marks for your test and it is better to talk to your non-Dutch colleague or foreign client.

My online classes focus on your needs. This can be help writing emails, communicating better in English or finally passing those reading and listening tests. I help you get the best out of yourself in a way that you feel comfortable with.

The lessons are given online at a time that suits you best or at my home in Zwolle.

English is a language spoken all over the world. Language is offered as a subject at school because it is good to master this language. Mastering a language can be quite difficult and it is nice to get extra support in this.

Physics is experienced as difficult by many students. It can be nice to get help in understanding the material. Sometimes it helps to go through the material 1 on 1 again and sometimes it helps to have it re-explained in a different way.

Biology is a subject in which you both have to remember a lot and actually understand the material. Many topics are covered. Together we can see where the bottleneck lies for you and how we can best tackle this.

In the lesson I help you with the things you run into. This can concern spelling and grammar in the English language, but also difficult formulas in physics. You can also contact me for questions about biology.

Hi Everyone !
Are you looking to improve your French, practice your conversation skills, or get some help with your school exams? I am here to help you !
My name is Madú, a 45 year-old French native speaker, and life-long adventurer around the world, now settling in the Nederlands near Zwolle. I am myself loving to learn new languages, and I developed excellent skills in observing and asserting the where and the how a student would beneficiate from guidance to ace speaking fluently, or writing with authenticity, or understand in the depth the turns and twists of a langage.

What I offer:
• Casual & Real-life Conversation: Perfect for adults who want to travel, preparation for a move, or just for fun. We talk about topics you actually care about
• School & Homework Support: Helping teenagers or university students in Zwolle boost their grades, understand grammar easily, and practice for oral exams.
• French for Beginners: My first official profession was logopedist (orthophoniste), so introducing prononciation and basics foundations of french use to be my daily task.

Why choose my classes?
• 100% Tailored: Every lesson is built around your specific goals, interests and pace.
• Flexible: We can meet in a cozy café in the center of Zwolle, for a walk in the woods, or others in-situ places/ activities for a interesting lesson depending your level; or entirely online via Zoom/Whatsapp, google meet etc...
• Friendly Atmosphere: We learn through joy and very interesting topics. You will gain confidence by quitting on stress judgements and fears, for mistakes are to be treasured, as well as successes, they both are the core of the learning process !

Feel free to send me a message for any question you may have. We will schedule one first free conversation so you can share your goals and I can have a feel of where you may be in your learning process.

Ready to enrich to French ? Let's do it !
