About Me

I am a 23 year old visual artist and a full-time student of Social and Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven, focused in experimenting and building bridges between art and social sciences; interested in Ecology, Anthropology, Visual Culture and Gender Studies. Getting started in photography doesn’t have to be challenging. I'll start with digital and analog camera basics and provide a thorough explanation on photography elementary concepts like Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. I will also provide a guide on Color Theory in photography and how to do Narrative photography. If possible, there will be practice classes on the field taking pictures around the city. If the person is interested, I will also teach the basics about analog photography (including how to handle an analog camera, the types of roles that exist and how the developing process works). I will use mainly videos and my own presentations but I can provide a range of additional materials if necessary.
