ABOUT HOW TO TAKE CLASSES

My methodology is based on the student's interests, adapting to their preferred genres and supporting the student according to their goals, from those who want to be able to play an instrument as a hobby to those who want to train as a professional musician.

It doesn't matter what level you start at! My priority is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, set small challenges to make learning exciting and see your progress through these achievements. We will use a comprehensive approach where we will combine theory with practice from the beginning, so that you are able to understand in depth what you are playing.

My main goal is to share my passion for this art and help my students find and cultivate theirs!

About Me

A minha metodologia é baseada nos interesses do aluno, adaptando-me aos seus géneros preferidos e acompanhando o aluno de acordo com os seus objectivos, desde aqueles que querem poder tocar um instrumento como hobby até aqueles que querem formar-se como músico profissional.

Não importa o nível com que comece! A minha prioridade é criar um ambiente onde te sintas confortável, estabelecer pequenos desafios para tornar a aprendizagem emocionante e ver o teu progresso através dessas conquistas. Utilizaremos uma abordagem integral onde combinaremos a teoria com a prática desde o início, para que sejas capaz de compreender em profundidade o que estás a tocar.

O meu principal objetivo é partilhar a minha paixão por esta arte e ajudar os meus alunos a encontrar e cultivar a sua!

SOBRE MIM

Nacho é um músico multi-instrumentista, compositor e produtor que nos últimos 10 anos tem desenvolvido uma presença ativa no panorama artístico espanhol e português.

Licenciado pelo Conservatório Profissional de Música de Múrcia (Espanha) com especialidade em Guitarra Clássica (desde os 9 anos de idade), obteve posteriormente o título superior de técnico de som para espectáculos e audiovisuais pela Escola Superior Internacional (ESI).

Trabalhou num grande número de projectos e propostas artísticas, com mais de 500 actuações ao vivo, incluindo bandas de rock alternativo, jazz, flamenco, música brasileira... Tem uma ampla linguagem em Guitarra Clássica, Bossa Nova e música latina em geral, Jazz e Funk.

Nos últimos anos produziu dois álbuns, atualmente acaba de terminar uma turnê em Espanha e Portugal com o artista brasileiro Paulo Edson, com quem produziu seu último EP.

Hello, I'm musician/guitarist/vocalist & singersongwriter since 2004. In 2009 I finished my studies in musical production (2 years) at ETIC in Lisbon and until now I've been developing various works as sound engineer, sound designer and guitar teacher.

Creative, committed and persistent are my main characteristics as a teacher, professional with 10 years of experience in musical production, sound engineering and guitar lessons. In 2014 I decided to move to London in order to improve in a more deeper level my sound engineer and mastering technics in LondonAmp – London Academy of Music Production where he completed the Sound Engineering Certificate course. Strong communication and interpersonal relation skills, fluently in Portuguese and English.

My name is José and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz from the "Escola Súperior de Música de Lisboa" one of the finest Jazz Universities in Europe.
I am a jazz musician with a lot of intenational performances in my career, I have played all through Europe and in China with amazing musicians such as Peter Evans, Shane Endsley, Ohad Talmor, André Fernandes, Jesús Santandreu, Javier Subatín, Óscar Graça, João Paulo Esteves-da-Silva, Maria Villanueva and others.
Aside from that, I have also participated in professional theatre companies as an orchestra member and also in projects outside of the Jazz world.

I offer dynamic and customized lessons to my students, regardless of their age and proficiency , I try to communicate and share with them the necessary skills and tools needed to become a better musician, and also to cultivate a broader and simultaneously deeper understanding of music and art in general.

Hi!
I’m a professional drummer. I graduated from the Vienna Jazz Konservatorium in Austria and have been living in Lisbon since 2016.
I shared the stage with a many great musicians and performed all over Europe.

I teach all styles of music (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Funk, etc), technique, reading music and music history.

I give classes to beginners, intermediate, advanced students and also help prepare students for university entrance exam.

Every student is different, has their own pace of learning and approach, but the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the process of progress.

As a professional musician I have played shows with the likes Arooj Aftab (Grammy winner), and renowned British Folk Artists such as Martin Simpson as well as having my own compositions played on the BBC.
