Private lessons in French-maths-English / Homework help

From 22 £ /h

Course intended for all primary or secondary school students who have lost self-confidence and wish to regain a correct level in their weakest subject.
We review the lesson together, I re-explain it in my own way and we train together in an atmosphere where encouragement prevails.

School teacher since 2007, school well-being is my priority. Being academic is not innate, it is learned. Confidence is essential and must be reborn so that the student regains control over his learning.

Each course includes explanations, training and methodology.

Extra information

- Bring your own equipment (kit, ruler, geometry equipment) as well as notebooks, binders and manuals for the chosen lesson

About Me

The lump in the stomach when you have to go to school or college, the anxiety of the subject where you have the impression that the teacher comes from another planet, the disappointment when leaving a course of 'a lesson where you didn't understand anything, the feeling of being "zero".
Does it speak to you?

Because this is exactly what I was able to know myself in the past, I took a great interest in child psychology and I in turn became a School Teacher so that my students never again (at the less) can feel these negative emotions.

In practice since 2007, I make sure to give complete courses where the notions are reviewed together, where the student is taken into account in his own understanding. We learn the material, we learn to learn, we train. I do not hesitate to give little tips and to create a pleasant atmosphere conducive to development.

My range of subjects to study is vast: Mathematics, French, English, Spanish, Latin. In terms of pure methodology, we can talk about all the subjects taught in your child's school.

2000 - License in Language Sciences at the University of Toulouse Le Mirail

Hi everybody!

My name is Sylvain and I am an English teacher with a Bachelor's degree in English and a Cambridge Proficiency Certificate (C2, grade A). I have over 20 years of experience in teaching the English language. I offer private lessons for all profiles.

Currently a third year psychology student, I offer my services to teach all subjects at primary and secondary school level. During my university training, I acquired solid knowledge in developmental psychology, psychopathology, and intervention methods. Additionally, I have already had the opportunity to teach students aged 6,9,11 and 15, which taught me the ability to communicate empathetically, create a trusting environment, and understanding the specific needs of others, which is essential to providing appropriate support.

I am Mrs. Shreshtha, Mauritian, living in France with an infinite love for languages and literature. I have been a teacher for 13 years and also hold a master's degree in French with a literature specialization, I offer academic support, private lessons as well as homework help in the Colomiers / Tournefeuille / St Martin region and also online on webcam all year round. I also offer language initiation (for non-French speakers and non-English speakers).
I can easily work with elementary and middle school students, high school students, students, adults and seniors.
My classes normally last one hour with explanations, note-taking, homework, corrections and oral activities. I adopt a participatory and student-centered approach. I am completely bilingual (French and English) and I can perfectly help you in your acquisition of the target language whatever your initial level. Serious, responsible, dedicated and motivated, I am available immediately and will be delighted to provide you with more information on my professional background and my methodology.

My aim is to empower each of my students to work independently. Depending on the individual student, I first work to establish a relationship of trust, find the learning method best suited to them, and provide them with the tools for autonomous learning.

Hello!

I am a student in an engineering school specializing in Computer Science and Telecommunications. Coming from the MP preparatory classes, my background has allowed me to assimilate scientific notions from several branches of maths and physics, whether the most basic or the most complicated. This has also pushed me to develop a love of science, something that I would like to share with my students, because it makes learning fun and exciting.

I intend to help you develop your imagination in math and physics, because I find that this will save you hours of learning time. I will put at your disposal all the arsenal of tips and techniques that I was able to acquire during my years of schooling.

As for English, it's a language that I've always been passionate about! And I learned it from 3 different sources: school, a language center (where I reached the Advanced level), and by watching my favorite movies!

Looking forward to receiving your messages!

I have extensive experience teaching private English classes in Asia and Europe, working with children and adults in both private and group settings. My teaching focuses on conversation, academic support, and exam preparation.

Fran: Polyglotte, je suis titulaire d'un diplôme d'études anglaises (linguistique et littérature anglaise) et je parle huit langues, dont le français, l'allemand, l'espagnol et l'italian. My passion for language learning will allow me to complete a double master's degree and obtain a Cambridge CELTA diploma, with a Pass A in enseignement.

I have extensive experience teaching English in Asia and Europe, with children and adults, both privately and in groups. My teaching focuses on conversation skills, academic learning, and exam preparation.

Foreign languages aren't just useful tools for making international friends; they're also a way to integrate and discover new cultures. As a bilingual native speaker, I know that learning a language requires a lot of work, both in the language you study and in the one you're born speaking. Between untranslatable vocabulary, new grammatical concepts, and new sounds to produce, there are plenty of exciting aspects to the art of knowing how to speak a language.

Passionate about international affairs and multilingual, I speak French fluently, Japanese since birth (born and raised in Japan), Spanish at intermediate level +, and English at B2 level. I'm a recent beginner in Korean but I already know a little of its grammar ^^
I offer online or face-to-face courses in Toulouse, focusing on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary using explanatory diagrams with my graphics tablet, and exercises that I will propose during the courses.
