Personal description:
I am a professional classical musician, with a master’s degree in flute playing and years of experience playing solo, chamber music and with orchestras internationally.
I offer Flute and Music Theory lessons to children and adults of all ages, skill levels (grades 1 through 8 and beyond). Also I offer Piano lessons for beginners (grades 1 and 2).

Tutoring experience:
I have worked in the National School of Arts “Prof. L. Pipkoff” Sofia, Bulgaria. My class had children of different ages and mastery of the subject. I prepared them for national exams and concert appearances. I’ve also given privet lessons.

Tutoring approach:
Since every pupil is different, I believe that a good teacher always adjusts his methods to the needs and personality of his student. I strive to provide a structured and clear lesson, while focusing on music as something to be enjoyed. I work with the requirements of the grade system (from grade 1 to grade 8). In the process the child will learn: Instrumental techniques, music literacy, correct breathing and ear training.

My lessons are focussed on finding the joy of music- a goal that I have myself which I love to pass on to my students.
I welcome students of all ages and abilities. Whatever your aim, we can work together to tailor a unique method that suits you and allows you to feel confident with the instrument.

The recorder is more than a squealing school instrument, it has a long history, has a beautiful tone and is an excellent gateway instrument if you want to learn other wind instruments. It teaches you finger control, breath control and how to read music without worrying about extra keys, reaching for notes if you have small hands or holding a heavy instrument.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma from the Royal College of Music on the recorder having studied it as my main instrument for six years. I have taught recorder both privately, in group lessons and as a whole class curriculum music instrument.

With my holistic approach, I make learning enjoyable whilst inspiring pupils to try different styles of music from the Blues to Classical. I can teach using the grade system with either examination body or I can teach for the enjoyment of a pupil learning music.

I have a 100% pass rate on exams and have organised school concerts, performances at school fairs and small performances to children's classes or teachers.

Alongside my main instrument, I teach beginner flute and clarinet.

I am a classically trained experienced musician with a strong background in orchestral performance, I started studying music since I was 5 years old. I have been teaching flute, saxophone, clarinet, piano, music theory and folk woodwinds for more than 15 years. As a freelance flautist, I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall and the Southbank Centre. My performance experience encompasses a diverse range of settings, from live radio broadcasts to collaborations with dance and art installations, reflecting my versatility as a musician, and openness to help my students pursue their own personal journey, both within music and as an individual in general.

In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Beyond emphasising technical proficiency and a solid grasp of music theory, I am dedicated to nurturing creativity in all of my students.

A graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Jazz), I have been involved in music my whole life, and a freelance professional since 2022. I have worked regularly in big bands and function bands across the UK and internationally.
