Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. My name is Sofija and I am a pianist currently studying at Conservatorium Maastricht. I believe that music helps us to develop skills and qualities such as patience, accuracy and sensitivity that we all need in our daily life. It can be also a great way to connect to other people or to yourself. In the lessons we will focus on your needs and wishes both if you are a beginner or an advanced player. My goal would be to make a beginner feel comfortable with features such as good orientation in the scores and on the keyboard, musical and rhythmical playing, basic technical skills and knowledge of musical terminology. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Considered “Best Colombian Young Pianist 2018” after winning the first prize in the national piano competition in Colombia. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences.
