Warm welcome to my English course :) Having around 6 years teaching English as a second language, especially Academic Writing and English for IELTS, I understand how challenging it can be to take up a new language.

With my solid background in Education (earned from Vietnam and Finland) and mentioned experience, I hope to provide you with customized support so that you can learn at your own style and speed to acquire academic English properly. Moreover, with regard to your learning goal, I can help you acquire basic skills needed for taking the IELTS Writing exam. As a test-taker myself for several times, I'm willing to share tips with you so that you can gain better score from this challenging language test :)

Another highlight of this course is the support with correcting/polishing your academic essay/thesis. I intend to offer you not only simple corrections but also detailed feedback and instructions so that you can learn from your writing mistakes and know how to later fine-tune the writings yourself. About Me

Hi! I am Thao or you can call me Wendy. For the past 6 years, I have actively engaged in language teaching career in both public universities, language centers and private tutoring. These positions have enabled me to help learners of different age groups (from teenagers, young adults, to the elderly) on their learning paths.

Also, I enjoy meeting people in social events, therefore, have joined in various social projects both in Vietnam and abroad, namely voluntary teaching to disadvantaged children (Vietnam), ERASMUS in Schools (Finland), and Cultural Exchange (Greece).

I provide tutoring and homework support for English. This does not only concern English grammar, spelling and vocabulary, but also reading comprehension, literature and translation theories.

In my lessons I focus entirely on what you need help with. For example, if you would like extra explanation about things you run into, or would like guidance with homework or when preparing a paper, a book summary or a speaking assignment, I would be happy to help you with that!

I keep the classes flexible. For example, these can always be canceled and they do not have to be scheduled with much time in advance. I want to keep my relationship with the student and parents personal, as I am only a student myself.
