Singing, Piano and/or Solfège lessons (at your home or online)

From 29 £ /h

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH

I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège.

I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons.

I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia).

I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien".

A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student.

I hope I can encourage you to move forward with your musical learning, and if that's the case, don't hesitate to write to me with any questions you may have :)

See you soon!
Aurélie

About Me

Me!

FRENCH (ENGLISH BELOW):

My name is Aurélie, I am 27 years old, and I have been giving online language and Piano lessons for 2 years. Currently studying singing (Jazz and Current Music) in Madrid, I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching the Luxembourgish language based on the skills and knowledge acquired over the past few years and based on the variety of languages that I speak (fluently).

Growing up in Luxembourg, I had the privilege of speaking Luxembourgish, French, German and English daily and acquiring a very diversified communication capacity. After a stay of 5 years in Germany, I came to Spain where I learned, during the last two years, Spanish (C1) and Catalan (B1) in a self-taught way.
As a musician since childhood, I have developed a sensitive ear which helps me to quickly learn a language and to adopt a good pronunciation, loyal to the local accent.

I am passionate about languages and I hope I can bring joy and courage to the process of learning a new language or music!

See you soon! :)

Online Luxembourgish Lessons - Speaking, Illustrated, Writing, Reading - For a more luxembourgish everyday life

29 £ /h

The Luxembourgish language is a hidden treasure and little considered nowadays.
As a Frankish language, and thus family with the Germanic languages, Luxembourgish gives access to the basic understanding of a whole different spectrum of European languages for French-speaking people.
On the other hand, Luxembourgish comes with a strong French influence.
It has to be said, though, that Luxembourgish has many hidden words that are unique and specific to the language.

The course may contain:
- spoken exercises using various subjects and photos to describe (Sproochentest type)
- everyday conversations
- diction exercises, accent and pronunciation training
- dictations including the most important verbs
- most commonly used words and phrases in general
- exercises based on the lexical field of a specific area of the apprentice's life to facilitate the launch
- games
- ...

After each lesson, the student will receive a sheet of the vocabulary assimilated during the course.

Hoping to be able to give joy and courage to all those who decide to enrich their knowledge of Luxembourgish, a rich language full of surprises.

In this course you will learn to understand your body through music. To play piano we need more than our fingers, you will learn to feel your body, the relaxation that passes through it and the necessary movements you must make to be able to properly play the piano.
You will also learn a lot about each era, starting from the Baroque to today. You will be able to see how each era is unique and the way of seeing and feeling music in each of them.
You will learn many ways to study, so that you can continue at home alone with the certainty of doing well.
We will learn together, because I am convinced that teaching is a way of learning too.

Singing classes which will be adapted to the style the student wants to learn or explore.
In these classes there will be a technical part in which we will learn how to apply the technique to the performance and then we will move on to the interpretation part in which I will suggest songs on which we can work and advance.
These classes are dynamic and fun. I focus on helping you make the most of your voice and teach you how to get the most out of it.

It is never too late to enjoy music. There are thousands of ways in which a person can enter this wonderful world, either through a more practical approach, playing a musical instrument; or with a more theoretical approach, learning harmony, analysis and composition.
