I also have several private students on an ad-hoc basis from time to time.

In 2011, I undertook a 6-month morning assignment as a class teacher to 4 children (Grade 2 and 3) on the waiting list for admission to the International School of Geneva who had arrived in the last trimester of the academic year from the USA. This was through an Organization called Prince Advisory Services in Gland, which subsequently moved its activities back to the USA.
I also ran a Gamayya (Social centre) in Cairo for 3 years. One of the most important projects was teaching English to girls from poor areas.
In the context of social services, I taught English in refugee camps, local schools and institutions while working for the World Food Programme/OCHA. Although I have stable residence in Switzerland for many years, my international experience has proven to be helpful to newcomers from all corners of the world.
