Professor of jazz piano / contemporary music graduate conservatory offers piano lessons from 7 years, all styles. Initiation and improvement in: solfeggio, instrumental technique, harmony, rhythm, improvisation, solo / group play, listening. I can accompany my students to the drums.

For beginners who want to play the classic, we will start with the basics of music theory and reading notes. The music theory will be integrated into the practice of the piano and not separated from it. For the more advanced, in-depth work on dynamics and interpretation may be interesting. For non-classics, eager to improvise any music or to be able to reproduce the accompaniment of a beloved song, we will study harmony (always by tapping the keys, rest assured :)). Understanding between tonal and harmonic relationships is the key to improvisation. However, I remain very open to your wishes and needs and I can easily adapt my teaching according to what is requested.

Hello, my name is Bady and I am pleased to offer piano and guitar lessons for all levels and styles. I am a 32-year-old pianist and multi-instrumentalist, performing on stage in many styles after studying at the classical conservatory. My name is Torjus and I want to teach your children or yourself piano and saxophone. I am a generalist, more than a specialist, so that way I can teach basics in many areas. We can do techniques, practicing techniques, music theory, ear training, sight reading, playing together. I do mostly classical and rhytmical music and also a little jazz. The lessons are adapted to your skill level, and we will also talk about how you can help yourself get better. I have only taught kids and youths, but adults are also welcome. Kids up to 10 years: 30 minutes. Youths 10-15 years old: up to 45 minutes. Adolescents/adults 16 and up: from 30 to 60 minutes. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
