Welcome to the music class! Here, we are gonna discover the wonders of learning an instrument. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

I am senegalese , Professor, Linguist and Wolof language specialist. I am a Wolof native speaker . Learn and speak Wolof easily with me. I offer individual and group lessons. My methodology is to base myself on the courses in a structural and clear way, accessible to my learners to give them quality teaching and a total understanding of the courses in a cordial and satisfying atmosphere. I also give documents and homework every end of a session in order to allow my students to practice. Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched by the contributions of other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. It is experiencing a cultural expansion in the country and is also present in Gambia and Mauritania. So to facilitate your integration into Senegalese, Gambian society; it is essential to go through this language because it is the vernacular although there are several beautiful local Senegal- Gambian languages ​​but Wolof remains the most used language. this is why I propose to teach the beauty of this language which is my specialty and my mother tongue, I also teach Senegalese and Gambian culture and civilization. Learning Wolof offers anyone who wishes to get to know Senegal, in a professional, cultural or touristic context, to establish privileged contact with its population. My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also you how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can manage to form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson. I have already trained hundreds of students all over the world to speak, hold a conversation or communicate and write Wolof. What is more fascinating is while taking my lessons I noticed most of my students speak Wolof with a very clear accent in Wolof because I often insist on phonetics. I also want to inform my learners that apart from online courses, I organize language visits and tours in Senegal; for those who wish to travel in order to practice and discover Senegal with special packages. Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
