This is a French class for children aged 4-11, to learn in a fun environment with games, song, focusing on simple vocabulary and grammar. We will start a new theme every month, teaching children to introduce themselves, describe their family or talk about their hobbies.
The classes are conducted by an experienced teacher and French native speaker.

This class is designed for anyone who wants to begin learning French or who wants to develop their skills further. You will be taught by someone in their final year studying French at university who has lived in France for 5 months. Lessons will be tailored to the specific age range, or linguistic desires. Learning another language should be fun more than anything else, so lessons will be very interactive.

Hello, after having done a preparatory literary class, I am currently in the last year of philosophy and art history at UCL. I have been supporting students in the preparation of the French baccalaureate, philosophy and history-geography for several years. Through personalized support, I help them acquire a solid methodology for the baccalaureate exams. These courses aim to overcome the difficulties they encounter in class as well as to allow them to gain confidence in their academic capacities and their ability to develop complex thinking.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course).

As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish).
