Hi everyone! I'm Anna, a teacher of Russian language as a foreign and also as a native language. I studied Russian literature and language at university and I've been teaching Russian at school and privately in London for 3 years already. I love my language and would like to share my love and knowledge with you.

I use the method of immersion my students into the language and culture. I create all my lessons in connection with student's interests, individuality, language skills and goals.

Extra information

I'm calm, patient and I'm in love with mistakes, because I think they're our best teachers if we can reflect on them :)

I've got lots of materials and textbooks. I tailor the classical foreign language teaching approach to your particular needs.

I am a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker with significant experience in teaching.
I own a very enthusiastic approach to teaching. Lessons are fun and exciting. Currently located in London.
Happy to help with your language skills improvement with interactive and fun approach to learning.

Russian may seem difficult at the first sight, but I will do my best to prove it is not so hard as it seems!

The class is suitable for all people (kids, students, adults) who would like to study Russian for various reasons. I always create a personal program for every student in order to satisfy different levels of Russian and adapt towards specific needs.

The focus is, of course, put on studying vocabulary, grammar and most importantly speaking. The student can already say some basics starting from the first class. As soon as some basics are learned, communication will be practiced in a creative ad customized way. I will show various videos, texts and exercises to do together and provide written homework for further practice.

The lesson is structured as following (depending on personal needs, goals and knowledge):
- Homework overview and check up
- New material shown and explained
- Examples given for grammar, texts, vocabulary
- Discussion of the topic and Q&A session
- Extra additional information shared
- Conversational practice
- New homework given

I am a professionally qualified Teacher of more than 16 years experience and for me this work is very enjoyable because I am working with children for so many years. Also I have completed a Thesis in Pedagogy studies, and has achieved a PhD in this subject.
My professional focus is on teaching Russian as a Foreign Language and I recommend the communicative method to improve conversation skills, developing grammar and vocabulary, the key phrases and expressions that can be used in real life situations.
Expertise in all levels of student education primarily with children age groups from 3 to 18 years of age and adult learners. Able to assist in supervision, organisation of all areas of student curriculum, including preparation of GCSE and A-level.

Hello Everyone,
I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and moved to the UK in 2018.
At my classes I love coaching my students through talking to them about interesting topics and setting challenging tasks and ambitious goals for them. I really enjoy setting stretching targets for my students and helping them achieve their goals whether it is working abroad, moving to a Russian-speaking country or exams.
The most important thing for me as a teacher is to see my students speak. When we do speaking exercises, I usually write my students’ mistakes down in order to discuss them later. This way of correcting mistakes makes my students more relaxed because they are not interrupted while they are speaking.
Over the years I have developed and fine tuned my own 9 point plan to make our classes more effective. The 9 point plan includes:
• Speaking the language you learn every lesson
• Listening to engaging audio materials
• Learning how practical grammar works and how locals use it
• Expanding vocabulary every lesson
• Learning correct sentence building
• Reading fluently and confidently
• Learning how to communicate the way that locals do
• Learning to pronounce like the locals
• Building confidence in all the above using discussions and role-plays

Let's learn Russian in an effective and fun way!

Hi!

If you have genuine interest in Russian language + want to get some insights into Russian politics and find out what’s going on there behind the iron curtain, I am happy to be your guide.

We will improve both your Russian language and political awareness by reading some local newspapers and (most importantly!) listen to secret YouTube conversations between Russians and Ukrainians that are never (honestly, never..) are being translated into English.

Looking forward!

Become a Poliglot. Research shows that learning languages causes anatomical changes in the brain. It causes new connections between neurons, which can contribute to the enlargement of certain parts of the brain...
And so less scientifically? The use of several languages is pure joy, satisfaction and a wide path to any success in life.
I am Polish. I always have heard that it's good to speak languages of your neighbours. So I have learnt German and Russian. English was an obvious choice for a professional life. Presently I am learning Hebrew just for fun, because I like the idea of knowing three different alphabets.
I invite you to join me on this fascinating journey.
We can do together homeworks from your school, learn vocabulary, repeat grammar, read, listen, sing, talk and discover the motherland of the chosen language.
I am not a professional teacher, but I have a passion for learning and I would like to share this passion. For two years I have been working in schools as a teaching assistant or general cover. Pupils enjoy cooperation with me, have fun and feel comfortable in process.
Just try.
