About Me
Hello, I am a Composer, Sound Artist and Professor specialized in instrumental and vocal chamber music, symphonic, for audiovisual and experimental. I have a background especially in creating music for cutting-edge ensembles and productions.

Contemporary music is a wide field in which you can experience infinitely. In my classes you will learn not only the basic theory of classical music as harmony, but we will extend that knowledge to its modern and avant-garde use, we will also address the construction of melodies and orchestration.

Music can become one of the most versatile arts if you know how to appreciate and manipulate all the tools that have been developed over the centuries. How did Mozart compose? Why is Debussy's music so idyllic? What makes the Star Wars soundtrack so powerful? All this has answers (and simpler than we think) in my composition and orchestration classes, we are going to see how to learn from the great composers of history and how to apply this knowledge to the music of the 21st century, to your music, whatever whatever you do, from rock or pop, jazz to minimalism or electro-acoustic avant-garde.

These classes propose an aesthetic approach to the music of emblematic composers of history; with special emphasis on those of the 20th century, so that through them the student can compose, orchestrate, analyze and understand music and apply this knowledge creatively to their own style.

It seeks a development of critical thinking regarding the history and philosophy of art and the creation of their own creative processes and concepts. Discussions about beauty, its meaning and links with different contemporary artistic and philosophical trends are addressed.

The purpose of the classes is the production of original and unpublished chamber instrumental music that can be premiered, sent to contests or layout for a catalog.

The contents that will be deepened according to the objectives and expectations of the students may be:

- Orchestration (includes orchestration for cinema)
- Extended techniques.
- Thematic and conceptual development.
- History of Music and its Avant-gardes.
- Analysis and musical theory applied to composition.
- Study and practice of non-traditional harmony.
