Would you like to learn to play a beautiful instrument in addition to school and sport? Did you used to play the piano and would you like to start again? I can help!

Because of my years of experience as a pianist and as a teacher, I know what makes pupils enthusiastic. But I also know what kind of issues cause people to feel held back, such as lack of time to practise and/or physical complaints. If your physical complaints are related to your way of playing the piano, I can provide you with many solutions. My teaching methods cater especially for people looking to improve their technique who also want to have fun making music. During the first lesson I will go deeper into this and together we will look at what goals you would like to achieve.

Extra information

Organised via Zoom. Before the lesson begins it is your responsibility as a student to ensure you have a stable wi-fi connection as well as a good working camera and microphone so we can communicate with ease. I would also appreciate you sending me pages of the materials you would like to study so I can have these at hand during our lesson. Please make sure you set up in good time, as I aim to start from the moment the lesson is scheduled to begin.

About Me

Hello! My name is Tamas and I have been playing piano since I was 7 years old.

To learn to play music, it is good to surround yourself with music as much as possible. For this reason, I regularly play house concerts myself.

Education

In September 2022 I will begin a three year study in Musicology at the University of Utrecht. There I will further my knowledge of classical music and music theory, as well as study contemporary pieces.

Experience / Qualifications

I have taught students from age 6 to 75, all ranging in abilities from beginner to advanced.
