Christina
Piano Lesson and music theory at your home for children and adultsAbout the teacher:
First, Professional. Holding a Master in Music post-graduate degree, the teacher has been teaching piano lessons professionally for 17 years. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance.
Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as a proper method for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning.
It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life.
About the class:
Different students may require different class lengths.
For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal usually takes more than four years to practice.
For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency.

Piano and Guitar Classes for Entry levels, Beginners, and IntermediatesI teach Entry level, Beginner, and Intermediate Piano and Guitar lessons. I focus on different styles, techniques, and rhythms, with a broad base of musical genre.
These classes are designed for aspiring musicians with some musical background and also those with little or none. The aim of each lesson is to keep the student at the peak of each of their abilities by giving both challenging new pieces and reinforcing and expanding their own musical knowledge.
I also put some emphasis on incorporating students' own personal musical tastes and styles to bring their own passion to the music they want to play.

Learn Piano and Improvisation and practice other languages :)The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!
The class duration: You can choose!
20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old)
30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old)
45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners)
1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory)
I use different methods depending on:
1) The goals of my student
2) The language that we will use on class
3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.

Teaching music, solfege, piano and oriental and western music theories via the Internet and for all agesStudies have shown that listening to music makes an individual feel happy, helps him regulate his emotions, and helps him relax, and studies have indicated that listening to music he likes or likes causes the brain to release a chemical called dopamine, which has positive effects on mood, and music helps to feel emotions. Strong, such as sadness, fear, and joy, music has the ability to improve mood and human health.[1] Improve verbal and visual skills Several studies have indicated that teaching music at an early age stimulates a child’s brain in several ways that help him improve communication skills, visual skills, and verbal skills. ; One study looked at children aged four to six years who were given musical training in rhythm, voice, and melody.

Music, violin, viola and musical language classesI can teach viola classes at all levels, and violin to students up to the sixth of Professional Grade. I can also teach music theory at all levels and support the study of other subjects taught at the conservatory, such as music history, analysis, orchestra, chamber music, etc.
I believe that the teacher must be able to adapt a lot to the student, and especially in music I find it very important to understand the sensitivity and difficulties of each student. I consider myself a demanding person, but very empathetic and patient.
It is very important to me, apart from all the factors that affect the performance, to emphasize the care of the posture and the tensions of the body to avoid injuries that can be caused by playing the viola or the violin.

Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any levelI teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.
I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
