About Me
Passionate, encouraging, and with a good sense of humor, I am a seasoned educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. My approach to teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about building relationships with my students to make learning more relatable and enjoyable.
My expertise lies in integrating various teaching techniques, including reading, ear-training, and technique, to offer a comprehensive educational experience. My teaching philosophy is centered around tailoring piano instruction to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering a love for music regardless of age or skill level.
Creating a supportive and creative learning environment is paramount to me, where students are encouraged to explore musical expression, develop technical proficiency, and cultivate a lifelong passion for playing the piano. I carefully select music that aligns with my students' interests, age, and skill level to ensure lessons are both enriching and enjoyable.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy activities like dancing, practicing yoga, discovering new music, and spending time in nature.
