About Me

Over 10 years of experience in piano teaching has helped me to develop a skillset and methodology to enable that students I teach make a high level of progress and ultimately have a rewarding and enjoyable time learning to play. Whether it’s supporting learners in the basic foundations of musical understanding or teaching more advanced performance techniques, I always strive for clear and efficient communication to motivate and inspire students to the highest degree.

Across my time in music education I have enjoyed teaching a range of abilities and styles including traditional ABRSM graded routes, specialised jazz improvisation courses as well as directing and arranging for larger scale ensembles such as wind orchestras and Jazz bands.

🎶🎹 Piano Lessons for children and adults of all levels 🎹🎶
You will learn how to play the piano or hone your existing skills. Do you want to play your favorite songs and impress your friends? Learn to disassemble complex compositions on your own? Or prepare for admission? We will focus on those aspects that will lead you to the goal as quickly and efficiently as possible. You can take lessons even if: - Never played music before; - You do not know musical notation and are not familiar with the technique of playing the instrument; - Think it's too late for you to learn. Depending on your goals, there will be less or more theory in the course. We will select exercises for you to develop your pianistic technique. What will you learn: 1) Learn to play with two hands: You will immediately learn to play with two hands, and after a few lessons you will see that it is not as difficult as it seems. 2) You will be able to play compositions from memory: You will be able to show off your piano playing skills to your friends in a month, in the classroom you will learn compositions that you are interested in playing. 3) Learn to read music: Music will no longer be an unknown language for you. You will see how all these incomprehensible symbols easily turn into a melody. 4) Develop a sense of rhythm: Practicing the piano develops a sense of rhythm - you can better feel the music. 5) Become happier and more musical: You will be able to express your feelings in a new way. And you will also hear music in a new way - you will be able to distinguish previously imperceptible details in familiar compositions. 6) You will be able to disassemble the compositions yourself: You will be able to disassemble the notes yourself and learn the composition you like. Place the right accents and play it.

Vocal and piano lessons with a professional opera singer and music teacher in London
Dear parents and students, welcome to my profile! I am a professional opera singer who has performed in theatres and concerts in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Romania, and Hong Kong, has won international vocal competitions, been an adjudicator in vocal competitions, and given vocal masterclasses in secondary schools. Currently, I am an official singing and piano teacher at an arts school in London, where my classes are always fully booked. I have always enjoyed teaching and can teach a wide range of repertoire in English, German, French and Italian. As a private singing teacher, all my students have won local and international competitions, and obtained excellent results in their exams. Some of them even decided to choose music and opera as their future careers. Yet, I see many more responsibilities being a teacher. Besides sharing knowledge and experience with my students, I am also the person who: - enlightens my students through their journey of music; - my students can rely on and talk to; - influences them to embrace differences and be kind; - makes them aware of their values and proud of themselves. I want to be my students' friend and teach them with a humble and empathetic heart. My students like sharing their stories and ideas with me outside the lessons, sometimes about books, sometimes about philosophy, sometimes about the world, sometimes about the industry, sometimes about anything in life. I always make time for my students. Besides singing, I have been a pianist and piano teacher for 13 years. I am usually the accompanist for my students in their competitions and exams. My qualifications are as follows: The Chinese University of Hong Kong Bachelor of Arts (Music) Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel Master of Music (Classical Singing) Postgraduate in Classical Singing Licentiate Trinity College London Vocal Performance 97/100 Distinction Licentiate Trinity College London Piano Performance 90/100 Distinction DipABRSM Piano ABRSM Grade 8 Music Theory I can give both face-to-face and online lessons. Please feel free to contact me and let me know what you want to learn and achieve! Have a super lovely day!:)

Piano and vocal - singing teacher. All levels are acceptable! We will achieve any level you want
I finished a music school and my speciality was the piano. I did an expanded course that lasted 13 years, 3-4 times per week and, of course, all included : sight reading, notation, music theory etc. Since 7 years old, I went to several national piano competitions all around the world every year until I was accepted at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. There, I’m studying vocals and music industry in general. I won a lot of first, second, grand prices as marks of my achievements. I’m from Lithuania, I was working there as a private piano and singing teacher for a couple of years. During a gap year I took, I was teaching as well. My mum is a piano teacher, I was in this sphere for all my life. As I was teaching, I had international students from Germany and Italy. It makes me experienced in English language teaching. If you have any questions, I’m ready to answer and to teach you how to play from any level to any level you want. Klodele

Piano and music theory/composition lessons for beginners/intermediates
I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

Ana
Violin/Viola; Baroque Violin/Viola; Singing; Piano
.......Ana is also passionate about teaching. She was the baroque strings coach at the inaugural edition of the Novi Sad Baroque Academy, where she presented a mixture of teaching methods incorporated with historically informed performance practice. In October of 2021 she joined the Herne Hill Music Studio in London as one of their tutors. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages, and is always willing to exchange knowledge, seeking new exciting and productive ways of learning. She has explored educational psychology, as well as Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique, visualization and different teaching schools. Having studied 2nd-study piano at her music college as a compulsory requirement, she is able to guide children to take ABRSM graded piano music exams too. The students’ happiness, acquisition of new knowledge and musical improvement are the most important things to her. Diana Cummings, the LRAM programme supervisor at the Royal Academy of Music in London, said: “Ana gave a detailed and very well-presented analysis of the baroque viola, the comparison with modern viola and how it could be taught. You have a very analytical mind and think through all the elements of teaching effectively and constructively. You are a most promising teacher, and you are exploring your potential with great enthusiasm. Well done.” ...

I’m a professional musician who studied on the highly regarded jazz course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance; whilst at Trinity I also studied Flute with members of some of London’s prestigious orchestras. I've performed all over London at well known venues like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The South Bank Centre but also played around in the city in jazz clubs like Kansas Smitty’s and Olivers. As well as performing in London I’ve played all around the UK and abroad at festivals such as the New Generations Festival in Florence (playing with American jazz artists such as Dominic Farinacci and Dan Tepfer). I’m also a highly experienced and regard teacher having taught all the way from university level to primary school. My teaching adapts to the pupil after we identify the areas we want to and wish to work on but also aspects of playing i think you need to improve or will be good to work on. I can also provide theory lessons
