I am a classical singer who developed many artistic skills and I am ready to share them with you!
Classical technique can be the basis for any type of vocal genre. My goal is to find an individual key to each student and provide a personal approach to every type of voice.
The plan will vary depending on different levels of student, but mainly will be focused on discovering your true voice, vocal warm-ups, practice patterns, interpretation and character of the piece, language coaching, physical engagement of a singer.

Language coaching:

Due to my cultural exposure, I had an opportunity to learn multiple languages and I am fluent in Portuguese, English, French, Italian and Spanish besides native Ukrainian and Russian.

About Me

I am a classically trained singer who would like to explore the world of teaching. I do enjoy giving out my knowledge and recognizing potential in others, with an objective to achieve the best results through the joy of the training process regardless of the style you choose to sing.

About me:
I am a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Master's in Musical Theatre Performance. I teach drama, acting, and singing at two different arts academies in Glasgow. I have several years of professional performance-based experience which includes Radio City Music Hall, singing LIVE on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and multiple professional concerts/cabarets.

Student experience:
Music and singing should be for everyone to enjoy. Together we can focus on technique, repertoire, or simply how to sing healthily for fun. My classroom is a safe space to experiment and grow your love of singing.

First lesson:
In our first lesson we'll focus on some easy vocal warm-ups/exercises so I can assess your skill level. We'll chat about what you want to work on together. We'll talk about what kind of music you'd like to learn and discuss resources for sheet music and tracks.

Moving forward:
Acting and characterization are key components in learning to sing, even if just for fun! Enjoying your music choices and identifying why they speak to you will help in growing your vocal range. Moving forward together we'll focus on your skill level and reaching each vocal goal you have.

I'm Miguel and I'm a full time musician working as a tutor, performer, and creative e solo and collaborative settings.

In my lessons I love zooming into my students needs at whatever level of development they might be with their instruments. May it be learning new repertoire, developing technique, arranging or composing new music, getting to know the fretboard... Together we can figure out a strategie for you to fulfill your musical ambitions!

My area of expertise are as follows:

- Accompaniment.
- Harmony.
- Arranging.
- Folk, Classical.

I was a piano teacher and a primary school music teacher for more than 20 years.
I was conductor in the school choir and folk song ensemble.

I love to teach kids. I always teach in a funny way. I hope to encourage kids to love music, but I encourage my pupils to achieve extra miles and high standard.
My mother language is Cantonese as I came from Hong Kong.
