Or you tried to record your own song idea and could not, because your recording was totally different from what you hear in your head?
Or your mom or friend told you that you tone deaf and better not to sing at all?
Or maybe you tried to follow YouTube teachers but still stay at the same point vocally?
Then I might help you at online vocal lessons or offline if you live in Rotterdam.

- Actually CAN hear music,
- CAN sing
- Can write your song
- You CAN understand better Youtube gurus and apply their tips to your voice.
At lessons I help people to understand how exactly THEIR voice works, what kind of potential in it, how to find own manner and sound, how to sing in a healthy way. How to reach that high notes, extend the range, how to make low notes deeper and richer.
It's going to be fun and productive. Already for the first 10 lessons you will be able to hear the significant progress.
Lessons in ZOOM or offline after 3rd March in Rotterdam.

Your voice coach - Kateryna

Specialisation - vocal coaching and vocal restoration after mechanical injuries or illness.
Her methode is the mix different world famous techniques such speech level, Estil methode, Complete Vocal technique, yoga breathing and relaxation techniques and work with mental blocks.
Extra information
At the first lesson I will ask you to sing the piece of your favourite song and describe how you see your problem and I will give the honest reflection to the actual situation with your voice.
I am not promising fast results, but I promise noticeable results already at the first lesson.
I work with your voice like with the stone which needs to be shaped into diamond, so no my personal manner or intonation. I will help you to find your won style and sound. Find perfectly sound intonations and use a whole your potential. All explanations of techniques are designed most of the time at your personal experience and body feelings. So no boring charts and mechanical videos of your muscles or other anatomy.

As a teacher who came from Ukraine and have already learnt the Dutch way of lessons, I combine in my voice lessons a strong goal motivation, clear and understandable explanation and "gezellige" time.
My main specialization, voices after mechanical, or mental damaging processes.
If you:
Hear all the time “you can’t sing;
Lost your voice, because of screaming;
Lost your voice because of non professional voice education;
Lost your voice due to illness;
Lost your voice or can't make it better due to mental blocks;
Afraid to be at the stage and perform (or speak on public);

I use different explanation for different people and situations and work with the problem until it solved together with deep muscle relaxation and mental freedom.
With kids, we learn voice through games.
We would make a plan for your vocal lessons based on your wishes, and goals.
Maybe you would like to make a specific cover song or your own, but do not know where to begin, or you would like to find your voice from the beginning or recover it? Then we will find together your true goal and work on it.
But it does not mean, that your lessons will be boring like one routine. We will have lots of fun, so come with comfortable clothes and shoes to get your own voice freedom.

Two worlds

I was born within two worlds, the East and the West; the folklore music of central Greece and the classical one. A major factor in the formation of my musicality comes from the tight relation of my family with Greek traditional music. However, music of any kind was always welcome at my home. Inspired by my father who is also a singer, I got involved in choir singing and started piano lessons. Opting for singing was a choice that gave me the freedom to express my mind.

R’n’B & Latin

At my first piano lessons, I realised how music is put on paper and the importance of it. At about the same time I started singing in the school choir of my secondary school and I kept being between the lead voices of the high school choir. That was the point where I practiced the different voice harmonies and got over my teenage reluctance by singing in front of the public. At the sweet age of 14, I developed a special interest in R’n’B and soul music. Later on, I got involved in the pop and rock scene but suddenly, Latin jazz music attracted my interest.

One of the reasons I fell in love with Latin music is because I feel that each emotion is manifested at its maximum glory. Latin music is a mixture of cultures and backgrounds; it is the fusion of European harmony brought to the colonies with African rhythms like Cuban music was brought to New York.

Singing as a vocal discovery

I consider myself a people’s person. When teaching I have the need to welcome the student into a safe environment of acceptance where music can happen. In order for the student to let go of personal timidness, mutual trust comes with time yet is necessary. I prioritise my students’ needs; teach them the technical aspects they should know so as to develop a healthy instrument but also coach them so that they develop their taste in music.

Because I have been singing various styles through my career, I believe I am quite a chameleon of styles (Latin, Brazilian, Jazz, Pop, Greek). In my lessons I find helpful to use some mini percussion so that the singer can establish an internal metronome. I am very supportive with each individuals’ needs and goals, that is why I always make a personal profile of my students and their progress and also ask them to design their personal dream board. All in all, I always use a combo of methods and adapt at the personal needs of the student.

Singing for me is always a vocal discovery and this is what I would like to help my students achieve. The essential idea is to develop a healthy instrument with which you can express through the good and bad days. I have been studying with different teachers around the Netherlands (Codarts alumni) and Greece and during this time I have realised that learning can happen anywhere and anytime.

We will find your needs together and start working from that point. You can come with no experience at all and I will help you to explore and develop your voice. It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique.

Although I have the most experience with classical, I am able and I am glad to teach other styles!

Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice.

Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment.

Hello! If you are looking for a patient, experienced, and passionate teacher, I am here to help you achieve your musical goals and discover the beautiful music of the Middle East.

I give percussion lessons on instruments such as daf, frame drum, darbuka, tonbak, and many more.
I also give singing lessons specialised on Kurdish and Turkish traditions.

In my lessons, I focus on posture, technique, music theory, and repertoire. But my most important task as a teacher is to motivate my students and help them on their musical journey.

I've been teaching music for 10 years and I'm based in Rotterdam. I have a Bachelor's degree in percussion and singing from the Conservatory of Ege University of Izmir and a Master's degree from the Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician, I can customise my lessons to suit your unique needs and interests. My blend of skills, experience, and passion for teaching ensures that each lesson is both engaging and effective.

I’m Helene, a vocal coach with over 10 years of experience teaching teens (12+) and adults of all levels. I graduated in Jazz Vocals (with piano as a minor) from the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen 2016.

My lessons focus on healthy vocal technique (based on CVT), self-expression, and building confidence — especially for those who feel blocked or insecure. I know how that feels, and I’m passionate about helping others grow through their voice.

In addition to singing, I guide students in songwriting, music theory, and learning to accompany themselves on piano. We set personal goals and work toward them step by step — with attention, care, and joy.

English conversation lessons from a qualified English teacher with a degree in English Language Teaching and a CELTA certificate.
I offer online or face-to-face lessons, primarily focusing on group conversation classes, enabling you to quickly and correctly acquire the four main skills. In addition to being an English teacher with an academic career and a degree in education, I also hold a CELTA certificate, which enables me to provide English language support to adults who wish to develop themselves in their chosen field.
At the same time, thanks to my education faculty diploma, I am also able to teach Turkish.

• Universal vocal techniques and exercises
• Classical foundations adapted for modern styles
• Singing while playing an instrument
• Piano technique and repertoire building
• Style and interpretation
• Solfège, ear training, and music theory
• Artistic expression, storytelling, and creativity
• Audition prep, performance skills, and stage fright support

Singing Lessons
The human voice is our most intuitive instrument—uniquely beautiful and incredibly powerful. As a classically trained singer with experience in both traditional and crossover genres, I help students extend their vocal range and expression through healthy, sustainable techniques. Using vivid imagery and technical precision, I’ll guide you to understand your voice deeply and express yourself freely, making music that is both healing and fulfilling.

Piano Lessons
With 25 years of piano experience—from beginner to conservatory level—this versatile instrument has shaped who I am as a musician. Whether your goal is to play your favorite piece, support your child’s musical growth, or accompany yourself as a singer-songwriter, I tailor lessons to your goals and schedule.
My piano teaching focuses on three key areas:
• Technical foundations, exercise and fingerings
• Style and interpretation across repertoire
• Music theory, analysis, sight-reading, and improvisation
