About Me

Hello! My name is Max and I am half English, half Dutch, currently studying Law at University. Growing up with a passion for language and communication, I developed a strong foundation in English Literature, having studied it at both GCSE and A-level.

My experience as a History and English tutor at school sparked a deep appreciation for teaching. I find immense joy in helping others grow and witnessing their progress firsthand. Whether it's building fluency, expanding vocabulary, or improving general speaking skills, I strive to create lessons that are not only effective but also enjoyable.

The best teachers I’ve had have inspired me to see learning as a journey of discovery and fun, which I aim to do the same for my students. For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time. If a shorter, or longer, class is better for you I can do that too. Just ask :)
