For those who are not familiar with the subject, I use an approach that is based on what I call 'common sense'. I have approached many of the humanists who have had classes with me by using simple language and real-world examples to explain complex economic concepts. For example, instead of using mathematical formulas, I start with an analogy from everyday life, so when explaining the law of demand, the following rule of thumb can be used: "the more expensive something is, the less we are able to buy it".

In economics, mathematics is essential to understand and solve complex problems, so I offer my students a solid mathematical knowledge that will enable them to better understand economics and deal with tasks more effectively. I have been tutoring students in science for over 3 years, with a focus on microeconomics, macroeconomics and mathematics. During the lessons, we additionally build the foundations and strengthen the knowledge of mathematics (derivatives of one variable, derivatives of two variables, linear function, quadratic function, graphical elaboration of tasks). It is possible to work together at all stages of learning.
**The knowledge you gain will not only help you pass quizzes but also during exams. So, you pay for exercises, but you receive additional knowledge for the exam, which means you gain twice as much by paying once.

Understanding and patient Economics tutor

I’m a graduate in Accounting and Finance from the University Of Warwick with wide experience tutoring maths, economics and sciences, particularly physics. I have done both the old style exams and the new ones, which puts me in a good position to help all students and apply the best resources to their revision for their specific exam.

To me, defeating any tricky exam is a process of a few steps:

Know the facts. This is the first and most obvious step in doing well. Factual recall is the basis of getting good marks. This can often be difficult, but breaking it down into smaller chunks, and being "smart" about revision can make a topic list much more approachable!

Apply the understanding. This is particularly important in sciences and tricky maths! Practice makes perfect, but it has to be the right type! An understanding of where the marks are allocated can make this much easier.

Play the game? Exams to me represent not just a factual recall or knowledge application test, but a strategic challenge where tactics, organisation and creative, targeted revision are rewarded. Strategically approaching exams with an eye to exam technique and ‘playing the mark scheme’ has always helped me get the best results. Coursework can be a great way to make life easier when it comes to exams, if you`ve got it. A good coursework grade can give so much extra breathing room for the actual papers.

I have wide experience teaching GCSE maths, science and economics. At A level I can teach maths, economics and physics and beyond this, accounting, finance or economics. Thanks to math-focused workshops I attended throughout my primary and high school, I have learned how to explain mathematical concepts in simple language. This is what matters most to me — that the students I tutor truly understand mathematics. That is why I use elements of the Hejny method, which is based on guiding students to solve the problems on their own.
