This is a personal tutoring experience. I aim to assist GCSE students studying English Language to achieve the highest grades possible. My aim is not just to guide you to exam success, but to further spark an interest in English Language.
I understand that these GCSE years are vital when strengthening a young mind, thus there is a significance of learning new techniques and ideas.

About Me
I’m from North West London and I am currently studying a degree of Criminology (BA) in the University of Nottingham. I achieved a grade A in English Literature A-level and a grade 7 in English Language GCSE, and therefore hope to pass on my knowledge and expertise onto my student. My enthusiasm surrounding English Language still remains as I often have to use the skills and techniques I’ve previously learnt, in my current essays, and I aim to impart my enthusiasm surrounding this subject on the student.
I believe that in order for the student to achieve the highest grade possible, it is vital to have an appropriate bond with a student so that they can learn effectively due to the mutual respect towards each other. Bonds are extremely important to have between one another, as I have had previous work experience with children through babysitting, which included helping with difficult homework tasks. The bond is so significant because of the mutual trust we have with one another. I have also coached netball teams which has led to me having improved communication and responsibility with young people, which has allowed me a greater understanding of young minds and the capabilities they have in achieving the goals they are aiming for.
I aim to involve multiple learning strategies in my tutoring sessions which include exam techniques, engagement with revision guides, explaining ways in which you can improve your learning capabilities and grades whilst I’m not there to help (for example, homework and repetitive practice), and language techniques.
Overall, my aim is to pass on my passion for English Language to others whilst engaging in different ways of achieving the grade that the student wants.
