Hello! I'm Peter from Cape Town, South Africa, and I help teenagers, adult learners, professionals, managers, and leaders develop the confidence and communication skills they need to speak English naturally and effectively.
With over 38 years of experience in adult education, coaching, facilitation, counselling, and leadership development, I understand that learning a language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. It is about gaining the confidence to express yourself clearly, communicate authentically, and build meaningful connections in both professional and everyday life.

My background is unique. I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree with majors in Psychology and Social Work, together with a professional TEFL certification. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in corporate learning and development, leadership training, coaching, counselling, and personal development, helping an extensive number of adults grow in confidence, improve their communication, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

This combination of behavioural science, adult learning, and language instruction allows me to create lessons that are practical, supportive, and highly personalised. Every learner arrives with different goals, experiences, strengths, and challenges, so I begin by working collaboratively with each student to identify clear learning outcomes and create a learning pathway that fits their individual needs. I believe that adults learn best when they feel relaxed, respected, encouraged, and understood. Drawing on decades of experience in psychology, coaching, and adult development, I understand the emotional and psychological aspects of language learning.
