I am a certified teacher from Vancouver, Canada.
I have worked internationally as an English Language Teacher and currently work with international and local students in Vancouver. I am passionate about creating dynamic lessons for my students to become engaged in their learning journeys and to strengthen their understanding of the English language. My areas of expertise include academic writing for high school and university students, as well as for IELTS purposes. I also have a breadth of experience in teaching the foundations of early literacy (phonics, reading, and writing).

With over 8 years of experience as an ESL teacher and tutor, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them enhance their English language abilities. My teaching journey has taken me to diverse locations such as Seoul, South Korea, Madrid, Spain, and Australia, where I gained valuable insights into different cultures and teaching methodologies.

During my time in Seoul, I taught English as a Second Language to students of various age groups, ranging from young learners to adults. In Madrid, I had the opportunity to work in a bilingual school, teaching English to students in the Primary and Intermediate levels. Upon relocating to Vancouver, I joined the West Vancouver school district, working as a primary and intermediate English and French teacher. Over the course of 8 years, I have worked closely with students of all ages, tailoring my teaching approach to meet their specific goals and learning styles.
