I am a fully qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language and have been teaching English, French and German for 5 years at various language schools, tutoring institutes and privately. I also work as a freelance translator.

I take quite a flexible approach to classes, taking enough leadership but always leaving enough room for you to tell me what you wish to get out o them. The focus can be on basics or reaching a certain level of fluency and comfort in the languages, depending on the student's level and needs. I am a French and Spanish student in my second year at King's College London. I studied French, Spanish and History at A level and received A*s in all three subjects in addition to 11 A*s and 1 A at GCSE. I am happy to tutor for GCSE and A level students on both language skills and exam technique in addition to anyone else looking to learn a language!
I would start off teaching the basics if necessary and quickly revise the essentials. I would focus on the four main areas of learning a language; speaking, listening, reading and writing. I would do this through resources such as worksheets and fun activities such as games or quizzes. As a languages student, I understand how scary learning a new language can be. As a result, I would be encouraging and make the student feel as comfortable as possible in speaking in a foreign language.

I am a qualified teacher that has primarily taught KS1 children. I have been a class teacher in both year 1 and year 2, as well as having been trained in KS2 also. In my previous teaching role I planned all maths and phonics lessons for my year group, having a high understanding of progression throughout the subjects.

The only thing you should worry about is having a pen ready :)

I like to work with photocopies, I would give a few homework, which we would correct together. I like to work through logic (I would try to make you understand why everything is like that) and not through rules of the language (because that's how it is and you have to learn it)
I would like you to understand it instead of studying (like many people do).

I would like to offer my help to anyone who wants to learn this language, which is one of the 3 most spoken in the world and is growing in importance every day.

I am a professional actress and movement director and I deliver one-to-one drama tuition sessions and full day workshops that are tailored to suit your individual needs. I have worked as an acting teacher and public speaking coach for all age groups (from ages 3 - 80!) for 24 years and it is a great passion and privilege of mine to assist in this way, seeing my students' evolution.

I have both a diploma and a degree in Acting (LAMDA, Associate Acting Diploma/ Rose Bruford, BA Hons Acting) and I have trained with Gecko physical theatre company. As well as performing for decades on stage and on screen, I have also run The Bedlam Bunch Children's Theatre and Entertainment since 2007, through which I have written and directed numerous stage plays as well as interactive, immersive shows for children aged 3 - 9 years. I also founded and ran Outburst Theatre from 2010 - 2019 as a platform to bring communities together in South East London via educational theatre projects. As a solo artist, I have written and produced three one-woman stage shows - "Raw Cake", "Through the Hourglass" and "The Wonky Shonky Show" - all performed in London, UK.
