I specialise in GCSE up to A-Level History exams. My goal is to encourage the interest and enthusiasm to learn more about the past.
I aim to help students with essay writing, in terms of identifying the differences within the factors and writing them in a well structured essay.
I will provide tips and tricks on studying for exams and enhancing memory recall.

I will provide small homework after sessions which will be looked over at the beginning of each session. These tasks will range between memory tests and small paragraph writing.

Geography, History: Secondary education (private lessons at home or online)
Need help with history? As a civil engineer, 30, I am happy to help you! Learning at your pace and with many examples to clarify the subject matter. I have years of experience in teaching simple and complex subject matter. --- Location: online/at the student's home ---- The lessons follow as follows. First of all, we jointly look for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I work at the student's pace and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give them tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lessons I often care about the subject matter that is more interesting to make and we solve exercises together. In this way I try to optimally prepare the student for his/her test of the exam. However, learning should also be enjoyable. That is why I always strive for a bond with the student through a spontaneous and positive approach. I am also very patient. All this to solve and improve the problems. Are you interested? Don't hesitate to receive me! Please come! --- Timo

Family genealogy and targeted research - Building your family tree
You want to know a little more about your family history, but you don't know where to start? Your great aunt (or your grandfather perhaps) provided you with information about this famous noble ancestor from whom the family is said to descend and you would like to know a little more about this illustrious character about whom you have been told to confirm these statements? Or, you simply have no reliable information on your ancestors beyond your grandparents and you would be interested in being able to name your great-grandparents, find out where they lived, what jobs they did, or perhaps even know their favorite hobbies (we can indeed discover a lot of information about our ancestors thanks to a little more in-depth research). It is also possible that you find yourself at an impasse in your research and that you would appreciate the help of an outside person: when you are very involved in your genealogy, it is sometimes useful to have a neutral person who can help us. helps with the necessary perspective to see things more clearly and unblock a complicated situation. In this course, I offer you an immersion in your family history which will allow you to know your ancestors better, but also to know yourself better. “When you do not know where you are going, look where you come from” (Proverb African). During our meetings, we will work on the necessary and essential steps to discover your family roots and create, little by little, an exciting and fascinating family tree that you will be proud to present to your family and friends! It has been more than 25 years since I first became interested in the history of my family, because I had heard (as is often the case) a somewhat “fantastic” anecdote about a famous ancestor! Asked by a relative, I planned to verify this information. And this is how my passion for this discipline was born, which I practice on a daily basis personally, or to help clients better organize their research and go from surprise to surprise! It was during the 2020 confinement that I undertook graduate training in genealogy. Of Irish-USA-Canada and Swiss origins, my two main working languages are English and French. I also offer my services if you wish to entrust me with the creation and presentation of your family tree. Do not hesitate to let me know during our first contact!

Learn Armenian language, grammar, literature and history in Western Armenian.
Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing. I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences. I've always been the smiling and friendly tutor who makes the student comfortable during the lessons. I believe that in order to reach the students you need to understand them also emotionally and psychologically.
