I have a masters degree in Finance from a Business School in Paris and a bachelor's degree in management from a Business School in Lisbon. I have always been passionate about mathematics, and the passion for finance came with my university degree. I am available mainly during weekends! :)

ABOUT ME & MY CLASSES

I specialize in giving English classes to learners of all ages specifically in business, general, and conversational English as well as Cambridge exam preparation. My primary goal is to engage and challenge my students by knowing their interests and catering the lessons to match them as student interest is essential to the learning process.

My classes with....

young learners (2-8 yrs old) primarily focus on learning through play such as learning question structures by playing the card game Go Fish. In addition to some short exercises to practice what is being learned or reinforced.

pre-teens and teens focus on activities geared towards their interests to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well as some games to break up the lessons. For example, if a student is interested in football and we are practicing reading skills that day, I might bring an article discussing Cristiano Ronaldo and his decision to leave Real Madrid.

adults are catered towards what they are specifically looking for in English class. That could be focused almost solely on communication skills and error correction or following a English course book.

all learners attempting Cambridge exams are focused on understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the student and helping the student improve in those areas through breaking the difficult area down and practice exercises.

I have experience with tutoring mathematics to students of different ae groups and levels. Tutoring can be focused on specific topics or follow along with the school curriculum and helping with homework. I currently study all of these subjects in my last year of high school in the british system(A-Levels-Edexcel for maths and Cambridge for Sciences). I got all A's in all these subjects last year and am plannng to carry on studying them at university next year.

As a successful mathematician, who participated in European Statistics Competition and got a Gold Award in the UKMT Mathematics Challenge, I am great at explaining mathematical concepts to both children and teenagers.
