About Me

I am a Molecular biology (MSc) graduate with an extensive experience as a Science and Math tutor and teaching assistant. I am available to provide 1:1 online Science and Math tuition to students of key stages 3, 4 and 5. My brimming interest in science especially the domain of biology and disease lead me to study sciences for my higher education. Due to my passion for science, I want to deliver my knowledge to young people through teaching and tutoring and help them boost their knowledge and skills.
I have extensive experience in working with a range of students including children with learning difficulties, behavioral issues, or psychological conditions. Hence, I learnt different teaching strategies and skills for different students. In my tuition sessions, I develop students’ skills and knowledge by making the concepts much easier to understand. I make PowerPoint presentations to explain content and use different websites to generate work sheets and online learning activities for students. I also focus on carrying out past examination questions with the students so that they gain examination skills and practice on exam style questions. Moreover, I try to incorporate interesting subject related activities and games into my classes to ensure that students are engaged and enjoying the subjects as well. Generally, I am a proactive, reliable and a very friendly individual. I really enjoy working with children and try my best to help them to their full potential.
